  Sabrina and her partner wanted to drop their bags off earlier than the check-in time, which was fine but I did have a hospital appointment I couldn't miss. They knew this but they then wanted to stay even though they hadn't paid, they took ages to leave the room (I thought they were just going to put their suitcases there so I could make more my appointment but start unpacking etc) . In fact they didn't even pay that night which they also knew they should have done. Sabrina also wanted to borrow my charger for her phone, which I was happy to do. I was impressed with Sabrina's knowledge of getting around London and they were fairly independent. I offered tea and coffee which they accepted and went out of my way to help them yet it beggars belief they criticized my house. They paid for a room, thats all, not the entire house, which if you see the photos is a warm, welcoming and beautiful house with lovely furniture. I always make everyone welcome and will help where I can. I am an artist and I was very busy at this time doing workshops and getting artwork ready. I am a widow and this is how I make ends meet, yet since her unfavourable review, I have not had many bookings and have had to have a break from Homestay. I hope if you are reading this review, consider your host more and how they go out of their way to help the guests enjoy their stay. It was Sabrina that abused the time, didn't pay initially and wanted to borrow things all the time. If you are going to put a bad review you must also be ready to acknowledge your shortcomings and realise how this affects someones day to day living.
