Mio marito ed io siamo entrambi in pensione. Entrambi abbiamo viaggiato in passato e ci piace parlare e ospitare persone nella nostra parte più bella del paese.
Abbiamo una grande casa vittoriana che stiamo continuando a migliorare e le entrate degli ospiti ci aiutano a unire la passione per fare la casa con l'incontrare nuovi ospiti e conoscere altre persone, le loro origini, i loro stili di vita e tutto ciò di cui vogliono parlare di.
Abbiamo una confortevole camera singola con vista sul Moray Firth. Hai una camera mansardata e un ampio salone dove puoi rilassarti e leggere o guardare la tv se il tempo diventa inclemente. Tè o caffè sono disponibili in qualsiasi momento, così come il wifi. Siamo più che felici di assicurarci che tu sia a tuo agio e curato.
Si prega di notare che la televisione è nella sala degli ospiti e non nella camera da letto.
Sentiti libero di chiedere qualsiasi requisito specifico che potresti avere perché saremo lieti di aiutarti in ogni modo possibile.

C'è un servizio di autobus attraverso Portgordon andare sia ad est e ad ovest, che collegherà tutti i servizi principali.
Si dovrebbe ricordare che htere sono ristoranti nel villaggio, ma ci sono molti posti per est a breve distanza in auto. + Un ottimo servizio di consegna indiano. Il parcheggio è un problema qui e la zona è molto tranquilla e sicura.

Informazioni sul quartiere
Portgordon è un piccolo villaggio, a 3 miglia da Buckie e 8 miglia da Elgin.
Della casa, e le nostre camere, over-look Moray Firth, uno specchio d'acqua adiacente al Mare del Nord, ci si affacciano sul mare e il porticciolo del villaggio, e situato a circa metà strada tra Aberdeen e Inverness. Portgordon è un piccolo e tranquillo borgo, ma c'è un regolare servizio di autobus che viaggiano da est a ovest (e ovest a est!) E tutti i comfort sono solo a breve distanza.

A stay with cherry and Richard a successful vacation!
What we should say largely. The both were very nice and present, always helpful and cosmopolitan.
The breakfast a poem that everything has excelled.
Our room was very affectionate like the remainder of the house and was arranged virtually. It was simply very nice. We can hardly expect to see again them.Host reply

Just about the best place to stay away from home! Almost like visiting the family you never knew you had.
Rooms are nice - even if you get the attic with the shared renovated bathroom (shared with just one person who we only saw once). An extra bonus is the sea view from the room, beautiful sunsets and the chance to see seals if you take a stroll along the coastline. Breakfast is plentiful and enough to last you through to somewhere in the afternoon.

Sherry and Richard are the best hosts ever! They are amazing! They were so nice and helped us in everything. Their home is beautiful, comfortable and we get rich breakfast every morning. We also had very good conversations as well. We stayed there for 2 nights and im sure we will go back to there.

Siamo stati molto bene. Sherry e Richard sono stati gentili, disponibili, accoglienti. Bella la camera e anche la loro casa. Ottima colazione. Lungo la costa abbiamo visto un colonia di foche.

Check in was very easy, and they gave us a key to get in if needed. Wonderful attic room overlooking the ocean, with teapot in room, and refridgerator just outside. Shared bath was a bit of a problem, particularly as it had old fixtures which make washing (and showering) not very convenient-- However, they said they intended to redo over the winter! Cant wait to see it next time we come!

Very nice host, I had everything I needed and more. Excellent location with view of the harbour from my room and a seal colony on the beach nearby.

Great location for peace and quiet. Really good hosts, made the whole stay enjoyable. Would recommend to all travelers to the the north east of Scotland.

What a welcome, and what a place! Sherry & Richard shared their beautiful home with us for 2 days, but also their friendship. We had a great time, and would certainly want to stay again. Although it was their home, they did not impose on us, but because they are such a fascinating couple, we wanted to spend time with them!
The attention to detail was impressive - the rooms were tastefully decorated and really comfortable. The "loo with a view" was amazing, watching the sun setting and still light at 11.30pm! The sea wall was just about 100 yards away, and the scenery stunning.
Everything was top quality (even the toilet roll that my wife appreciated and had one thrown to her as a gift!). The breakfast was delicious, with a large bowl of freshly prepared fruit of many varieties, warm croissants and other patisserie, a choice of cereals, fresh fruit juice, and my favourite: proper coffee!
If you want comfort, a small peaceful seaside village, great company and food, a good rate, then Oran House would be a perfect choice!

Sherry's house in Portgordon is everything we can wish for and even more.
The couple is absolutely adorable, offered us a drink when we arrived and asked us about the trip, indicated the place to see and so on. They gave us many very useful advice, booked the restaurant for us, printed us maps, etc...
The house is very big and charming, so is the room, with a splendid view of the sea.
The village is quiet and it was a pleasure to sleep with the sound of the sea waves.
For the breakfast... we had everything anyone can think of, salted, sweet, the largest choice we have had during our trip.
We absolutely recommand the place, for the quality of the stay as much as for the hosts. We really felt at home (in fact it was even better than at home !)
