Looking to rent a room of our house on the main floor with a shared quiet den area, a living room area and kitchen. Laundry is also available: on site in basement area- walkout basement to the backyard.
I like to cook and share food if you are a person who gets hungry!
There is a nice park with lake and walking trails nearby, including disc golf and bike trails that are connected to the 40 + mile Greenway biking/hiking trail that goes through the city and beyond
We have access to internet, Hulu and Disney Plus, Peacock and Amazon Prime.
The house is located on a court with very nice neighbors and is very quiet. Common to watch flocks of ducks and eagles flying around as the lake is near.
There is a walking path that goes around Thompson County park’s lake and the other path leads to bicycling and hiking through another park: Kaposia across the highway.
We are quiet although located next to major highway connecting to the south, west and east parts of Minneapolis and Saint Paul’s surrounding suburbs.

*overnight guests allowed during days my son is not around which is 50% of the time
*can provide tours of places around City when I am not working- one day per weekend - either a Saturday on one weekend and a Sunday the alternating weekend.
*pay for room needs to arrive beforehand if possible - Zelle or PayPal
*no smoking on-site or in house
*no entertaining minors ever in the house
*no large parties over 4 guests

Angela has a country home atmosphere. She goes above & beyond to help you have the best home visit while homestaying at her location. She accommodated me with providing meals, robe, coffee, light breakfast...
How do I book?
Contact the host about your stay - tell them a little about yourself, why you are staying and ask any questions you have about their homestay. You will be able to book immediately after sending your message.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
