My home offers a decent experience in a convenient location. It is an older two story home. Ideal for a guest who likes to experience the feel of yesteryears; still, close to modern days amenities.
Guest has the entire upstairs apartment with one large bedroom with a queen size bed and a loveseat.
The second room can be used as a sitting room or a 2nd bedroom. There is a twin size mattress placed on a futon, a small TV, desk & chair, and a puzzle table.
The third room is a kitchenette overlooking the patio.
It has a small fridge, a microwave, a hot plate, pots, pans, utensils, a juicer, and a coffee maker.
One parking space is available per booking. Use of the laundry room is permitted for guests who stays after 7 days and is limited to 2 loads.
Common area is available to give a guest the feel of a home away from home. The use of the fire pit outside is permitted responsibly.
It is my personal home and is best suited for a guest while on a short-term business assignment, a college student testing the road to independence, or someone exploring the possibility to relocate close to the border of North Carolina but selects Rock Hill due to the most favorable cost of living condition.

Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
Check in between 2PM and no later than 7PM.
Check out time is 10AM. Special arrangement can be made for later if needed.
You have 5 days prior to arrival to cancel the reservation with no penalty.
Full payment must be made through Homestay prior to arrival
Present a govt. photo ID upon check in. A copy is kept in my file. The key code will be provided at that time.
Play the music at a moderate volume.
Keep the smoking outside of the home.
Drink alcohol responsibly.
Refrain from using illegal drugs.
Dishes, pots & pans must be washed.
Free up the washer and dryer after use.
Address issues that need attention.

Suzanne was my surrogate mother with just the right balance of hospitality and distance while I was there. She was very attentive in making the experience very homey and provided some very sharp intellectual conversation. I would absolutely recommend her home to anyone having an extended day in Charlotte.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
