My beautiful home is in a quiet, guard gated community, located approximately one mile from the Huntington Beach Pier, and downtown shops and restaurants. Pacific City is an upscale, beachfront outdoor shopping plaza is also located nearby. The home is conveniently located near bus transportation to Orange Coast College (OCC) and the University of California, Irvine (UCI). The community has three lovely pools. My home has two lovely patios where students can enjoy the outdoors while studying. The guest room has a large desk, dresser, night stand, and lovely twin bed that converts to a very comfortable down filled sofa . There is a bathroom adjacent to the guest room.
Your hostess is a retired teacher who spent 34 years working with English Learners in a large school district. Since retiring, I now teach and co-lead the ESL program at my church. I am an avid fan of theater and ballet. I enjoy having students from different cultures stay in my home.

About the Area
My home is located in Huntington Beach, CA just off Main Street in the beautiful guard gated community of Pacific Ranch, which is approximately one mile from the Huntington Beach Pier, as well as the City and State beaches. There is always something happening in Huntington Beach including the US Surfing Championships, car shows, marathons, and a weekly farmer's market. A large variety of downtown shops and restaurants are found on Main Street and the surrounding area. Pacific City is another nearby retail and dining area. Across the street from my community is another retail and dining area with access to banks, dry cleaners, office supply, grocery stores, and much more. My house is conveniently located near bus transportation to Orange Coast College (OCC) and the University of California, Irvine (UCI). Popular attractions that are 30-60 minutes away include Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, and Universal Studios.

House Rules
Guests may pay cash on arrival and then set up a US bank account( if they don't already have one). After initial payment, all remaining payments will be made through direct bank transfers.
-Guests have access to the kitchen, two lovely patio areas, and the laundry room. There is access to the internet and a TV in the guest room.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
