Do not hesitate any longer! Book your stay with Ms Inez and her husband and you will enjoy the best home stay experience of your entire life. I have stayed here during 5 months and they have made me feel like a member of their marvellous family from the very first day. I have felt like in home while cooking with them, sharing experiences, opinions, enjoying TV shows together, going out, laughing, among many other things we have shared. The place is very well communicated: there are various bus stops nearby and even a subway station (7 min walk) that can take you directly to downtown and Harvard/MIT. There are groceries stores, food places and banks close by as well. You will never regret staying here and enjoying your time in Boston with Ms Inez and her husband. They are lovely, thank you!
Extremely nice couple very accommodating with a beautiful home highly recommended for someone looking for a convenient place to stay in Boston.
It was an awesome experience to meet people from different countries.
My wife and I were thousands of mile away from our home but with Inez it never felt that were actually staying with our own family away from home. Inez is so caring and pleasant to talk to that you'd feel you're talking to your aunt or a friend.
We reached quite late at night on our check-in day because our flight arrived quite late in Boston. She usually does not allow late check-ins but she understood our necessity and she opened the door for us two weary travelers. The first thing she did was hugged my wife. My wife needed it after a very long journey across continents.
The house has three floors(Ground, First and Second). We stayed in the room beside the bathroom on the first floor. There is another bathroom on the Ground floor which were allowed to use. There were a couple other young people staying with us and the bathroom was shared among us. She gave us a key to the house so that we could come and go as we pleased. She also told us about nearby services. Knowing about those wasn't difficult though because she has fast Wifi across her house. She gave us access to the kitchen as well. We were allowed to cook food in the kitchen and keep cooked food in the fridge. She even allowed us to use her vegetables, oil and spices.
In evening when people staying here came back, we would sit in the kitchen and just talk while we ate dinner. The environment at her place is very friendly. This brings me to another topic.
Mr. Morris, Inez's husband, is an extremely happy man. He laughs a lot and will make you laugh a lot. You're never bored when you are with Mr. Morris and Inez together. Both are gem of a person. Ms. Inez even cooked us dinner the day were going to leave her place.
Her house is one minute walking distance from two bus stops which take you directly to downtown Boston. There is a train station which is approximately seven to eight minutes walk from her place. There is a grocery store nearby that is open till 9:00pm and also a laundromat. There aren't any great places to eat nearby though. But since we almost always cooked, there wasn't any need for it.
I highly recommend staying with Ms. Inez.
I stayed with Ms. Inez and her family for a week in Dorchester. She's made everything to make me feel home. Remarkably kind, remarkably generous, and absolutely open and easygoing. She's even played my mum's role helping and supporting me like her son. I'd definitely stay at her house again when I get back to Boston! Thank you Ms. Inez ❤️❤️
From day 1 when Inez and her husband welcomed me into their home I felt comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed their hospitality. Would like to stay again next time I'm visiting Boston. 10 out of 10.
I really liked the accommodation. Inez and her husband were very nice people. There was access to kitchen and TV-room. Dorchester is a bit outside Boston but good communications to the city center. I preferred the commuter rail with departure once an hour. Five minutes walk and 15 minutes to Boston. Another option, a little slower, was the red line. 10 minutes walk to Shawmut or bus 22/23 to Ashmont and 20 minutes to city center. If I come back to Boston I would like to come back and stay with host Inez.
I came for the marathon weekend. Morris and Inez and family made me feel completely at home. The room was cosy. We shared the bathroom as If I was a member of the family. The kitchen was always at my disposal but like any house I made sure to stay out of the way when main Cook was at work. The house is 3 blocks from the redline Metro straight into the South Station in central Boston. I experienced Boston from the point of view of a Hard working american family and that for me was way better than being in the expensive isolation of a downtown Hotel. I would stay there again if I had the opportunity and recommend it and Homestay in general to my family and friends.
Inez and her husband are very, very nice and very helpful. Inez cooks very good. I felt well in her beautiful home. I would like to come again for some months. Many, many thanks!
I wanted to give Inez 10 hearts. She was like my mom during my stay at her home. Her family is really kind. By the way, all Inez recipes are delicious!!!!! Thank U Inez and Mr. Morris. I hope to see you again!
