We are a fun family of three, my husband is semi retired physician, I’m retired teacher and my college student daughter. Our house is located at prestigious highland neighborhood in north Arcadia, 15 minutes walk to the best elementary in Arcadia Highlandoak’s elementary, Foothill middle school is only three minutes walk down the street and the wonderful famous Arcadia high school is 10 minutes drive from our house.
We have hosted some great kids from China, Taiwan, they stayed through their junior and high school years.
We are also bilingual family, our family speak English mainly and I speak fluent Mandarin. We also love sport, travel and fun activities which is why kids love to stay with us.

About the Area
Our house is located on the north side of the city of Arcadia in a quiet and safe street. We are close to everything, 5 minutes drive to prestigious Highland Oaks elementary school, three minutes walk down the street to Foothill middle school and 10 minutes drive to famous Arcadia high school. We are 10 minutes drive to Arboretum botanical garden, the Santa Anita shopping malls, Ralph’s and Grocery outlets are just right around the corner with walking distance. Our house is at the end of a cul de sac street, quiet and peaceful with tons of wild animals and birds living together with us.

House Rules
Students need to go to school in regular school days, need to keep their room clean and tidy, clean their own bathroom. No guest on school days and no overnight staying on weekends.
Students can’t smoke or drink or party at the house unless host permits on special occasions.
Smoking Rules
Your host is a non-smoker.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
