Mother and daughter and our annoying cat live here. This is a great place to live with easy access to towns & cities, and countryside. I would love you to come and stay with us & enjoy the beautiful Derbyshire countryside. Then rest & relax, make yourself comfortable in this spacious, warm, sunny home.
Open plan kitchen, dinning and lounge with wood burner. The only TV is downstairs which we don't watch much.
Large garden with a pond; this is the garden you want to be sitting out in this summer.
Large family bathroom and downstairs toilet/shower.
We are a quiet, clean & tidy household.
Plenty of parking in front.
Easy access to A38 & thus to Derby, M1. Trains from Alfreton to Nottingham & Sheffield.
Furnished bedrooms, single bed with new mattress.
We both have DRB checks done for jobs.

This location gives you the choice of going to cities or exploring the countryside, the glorious Derbyshire Dales and Peak District.
Easy access to A38 & thus to Derby, M1. Trains from Alfreton to Nottingham & Sheffield. Manchester is only 1.5 hours by train. Buses to Derby or Chesterfield, or Mansfield.
Quiet village location, but easy to get away. Lovely walks locally. Or 20 minute walk to Alfreton for shops & leisure centre & restaurants.

House Rules
No cooking after 9pm, we are quiet household, so please be quiet after 9pm.
Please clean up after self. I like a clean & tidy house so please do your bit.
Please tell me if anything is wrong or if you break something or if you need anything. I will not know unless you tell me what is happening.
Please let me know where you are going & what time you will be back, otherwise I will be worrying about you!
If you are the last one to bed, please lock the doors & turn off the lights, check where the cat is.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
