Professional family…. Husband works for online food delivery company and works shifts , wife works in local school. We have a family dog , springer spaniel,who has full run of house but with bedroom doors shut he will not enter letting rooms. Our son who lives away from home as does our daughter though she lives locally and is seen in home at times ! Traditional terrace house near to city centre , sea and moorland. Both adults are professional trained chefs in previous working life so food is big part of our lives. We have hosted foreign visitors of all ages for the last 25 years ! So we know how it works and can provide a friendly easy going living , home from home. Close to Local transport hubs makes getting around and seeing our part of England very easy . I ask for a £25 a non refundable deposit (deduct from total fee ) at the time of booking to reserve the room. This is over and above the booking fee you pay Homestay, balance on arrival. My fee is £25 per person per night. I ask for the deposit to be paid into my bank (details given once booking confirmed) and balance the same way on day of arrival but will accept balance in cash on arrival . Bookings have access to kettle in kitchen but no other cooking facilities. We live so close to other eateries and supermarkets so you will be able to get all you require to eat with in very easy access.
Long stay bookings can discuss possibility of use of kitchen at times that the family are not using it.

Our house is in a suburb of sea side city. Close to local park and sports centre. Easy walking distance from city centre, local shops and supermarket. On major bus routes to most areas , 25 mins walk to city and train station

Respect our family home. Only the guest booked may to stay. Talk with us if you need anything not mentioned, we can sort most things .Deposit is £25 paid direct to me at time of booking and balance payable at an agreed time prior to arrival . Bank details will be supplied at time of booking

“I had a 7 day stay with Sarah-Jayne and her family and they made me feel very welcome from the minute I arrived. I had a great time staying here. Sarahjane and family have always been friendly and nice to me. She gave me concrete advice on where I could go for a trip over Devon and Cornwall, which turned out to allow me to have an amazing experience. I am hoping to travel around the southwest of England staying here again, possibly in spring!

Great family, I am so so happy to meet nice and kind people in this house. The house is clean, everything is in order, Sarah Jane is a great host, whatever the topic is, certainly she helps you with that. The location of the house is also quite well, there are a lot of markets and parks around. If you are looking for an accommodation in Plymouth, don't even hesitate one second to contact Sarah, you will be happy with this experience.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
