We live here in this quiet house with our son and one shy cat named Jazz with chickens in the garden.
We are in Crewe, Cheshire. (AN OLD RAILWAY TOWN) HOME OF THE ROLLS ROYCE MOTOR CAR (NOW BENTLEY) AND CREWE ALEX FOOTBALL CLUB. WE ARE CONSIDERED THE GATEWAY TO THE NORTHWEST OF ENGLAND.
We have got here in Crewe all the networks, RAIL,MOTORWAYS,GREAT TRANSPORT CONNECTIONS TO ENABLE YOU TO VISIT ALL OF ENGLAND, FROM JOHN A GROATS TO LANDS END....
Crewe station dates back to 1837, one of the most historic in the world, having twelve platforms.
THE QUEENS PARK IN CREWE IS A BIG BEAUTIFUL VICTORIAN PARK WITH ORIGINAL BAND STAND, CAFE, BOATING LAKE WHERE YOU CAN HIRE PADDLE BOATS AND CANOES, WITH GREAT WALKS WITH ALL ITS FLORA AND FAUNA. (DO NOT FORGET TO TAKE BREAD TO FEED THE DUCKS!!!). HAVE A GAME OF BOWLES AND CRAZY GOLF.
Crewe Business Park 15 minutes.
Bombardia 15 minutes walk.
Nantwich is just 5 Miles away, a very pretty historical town with its black and white Wattle and Daub Buildings .
The battle of Nantwich is enacted every year where the original battle took place with the Roundheads and Cavaliers battling it out.
Nantwich Music Festival is a very popular attraction and of course the famous CHESHIRE SHOW.
Shropshire Union Canal with its Mariner and canal boats, (Rosie and Jim of the childrens television series have even moored here. The walk, along the canal, with its various locks, is peaceful.
The small, quaint Museum tells of the fire of Nantwich and show cases other exhibitions.
Nantwich baths still has its own OUTDOOR BRINE POOL, The wich in Nantwich is from old English meaning salt.
The city of Hanley/Stoke is easily accessible by car bus and train this offers lots of Shopping.
THE REGENTS THEATRE has an array of shows (check out the website). The Museum in the cultural quarter is well worth a visit, housing some of the Cheshire Hoard, in the area where it was unearthed, not far from this Museum.They even have a cinema for you to catch the latest film.

CHESTER WALLED CITY with its many Museums, quaint Cafes, Black and white Buildings and Cathedral.
THE RIVER DEE with boat rides offering meals and a trip down the river and CHESTER RACE COURSE which can be seen or viewed from the walls surrounding this Roman city.
Manchester Half an Hour by train
Liverpool Lime Street 1 Hour by Train.
Excellent Public Transport and connections to all of the above.
Bus stop directly outside of the property to bus station for all above connections.
Walking distance to Bus Station 5 mins.

Our house is located near to central amenities : Bus stops, Railway, Station, M6 Motorway.
Restaurants including: Bella Italia, Chiquitos, Nandos, KFC, Subway, MC Donalds,Costa Coffee Star bucks ,The Big Apple, an American themed café, well worth a visit.

Industry and leisure include:Leighton hospital, Bentley Motors, Bombardier, MMU (Manchester University) South Cheshire College (Dane bank Avenue) These are all in walking distance.

OUT OF TOWN: WITHIN EASY TRAVELLING DISTANCE:
CHESTER: A walled city.1 hr away by bus, lovely ride with views of the Cheshire plain. Arriva bus no:84 leaves from, crewe bus station every hr.

River dee with boat rides, take a trip down the Dee on the Lady Diana boat with a meal on board.
Closer by is Wybunbury Moss Wildlife Reserve, between Crewe and Nantwich and Stapley water gardens, Beeston Castle and Peckforton Castle where Robin Hood was filmed.
Further afield still only 20 mins by car or 1 hr on the bus is the City of Stoke / Hanley.....Regents Theatre, Museum
MANCHESTER is half hour on the train.
LIVERPOOL is 1 hour by train, why not visit the famous St Johns Market, the docks or the Beatles Museum, Theatre Land, The World Museum,ST Georges Hall to name but a few.

Nantwich, with its quaint Museum and The baths with its outdoor Brine pool, Churches Mansion, Wattle and Daub black and white Buildings, 5 miles away.

Stapley Water Gardens,5 miles away.

Sandbach with its renowned Thursday Market, the Medieval Crosses with its cobbled Square, 5 miles away.All above are very easy accessible by train or bus with easy connections.

I would class our home as a home from home, if you need to stay in the area for weddings, family occassions or just in a good place for commuting this would be ideal.You can even be in The Lake district within 1 hour from here arriving at Oxenholme, Kendal or Windermere.

You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. When can I share my contact details?
