Hello. Welcome to our home. We have a lovely private room available with its own ensuite shower room in our 4 bedroom house in Hove. The house is a 15 min to the seafront and has a large garden overlooking a nature reserve. There is a sea view from the top of the pathway at the front of the house.
We are a friendly family of 4 - Phil & Debbie and our daughters Maddie and Imogen (Maddie is away during term times at university). We also have to very friendly and gentle cats - Leo & Luna.
We have hosted guests before through other websites so we are used to welcoming people into our home.
Guest will have use of the kitchen and family dining room if needed. You can also use the garden and terrace.
The guest bedroom is downstairs and has its own private ensuite wet/shower room. There is a downstairs toilet in the utility room just opposite from the guest room. The bed is a large single. There is free wifi available.

About the Area
We are located an 8 min walk from a Portslade railway station with regular trains to London (1hour) and Brighton (9 mins) and local bus routes. Nearby there are shops, supermarkets, coffee shops, restaurants and takeaways. the beach is a 15 min walk away. Our home back on to a nature reserve and has lovely walks out to the South Downs National Park.

Arrangements can be made for you to use the kitchen - please just ask.
There are laundry facilities which can be used at a small extra charge for long stay guests.
Fresh bedding and towels can be arranged for long stay guests on a weekly basis. Clean bed linen will be provided at the start of stays for all guests.
Guests are expected to keep the room tidy and to be left in the condition it was found in.
This is a family home and so we do ask for late night noise to be kept to a minimum.

Ha sido una estancia increíble durante 3 meses. Una familia encantadora y abierta de mente. La habitación con ducha privada es muy amplia y cómoda para los ratos que quieras pasar sola. La cocina y comedor es muy amplia para cocinar y comer, además de charlar con la familia. Recomendado 100%, gracias por todo me hicieron sentir como en casa.

I had an amazing time staying with Philip and his lovely family. I stayed with them for a month and it really feels like home for me. They are friendly and always available to help.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
