About the Area
Occasionally we like to share our house, which is located in the Historic Center of Malaga, and at the foot of Monte de Gibralfaro, it is a penthouse with a large terrace and impressive views, next to Plaza de la Merced, Casa de Picasso, Teatro Cervantes ,Roman Theater and the Alcazaba, very, very close (3 minutes walk) to the Picasso Museum, and the Thyssen Museum among others. Restaurants of all kinds, tapas, and cocktail bars nearby, (however the house is quiet) and a 5-minute walk from Calle Larios. With all the services (commercial and leisure) you may need at hand. Beach 700m. What else to say...We will wait for you!

Pilar es muy amable, la habitación y el piso con todo, muy limpios, cómodos, con todo necesario. La terraza es estupenda con vistas increíbles. Además se encuentra muy cerca del centro y de playa de la Malagueta. Muchas gracias!

Det var et lille værelse med fælles bad uden klima anlæg så vi havde ikke noget privat sted at opholde os.og man skal gennem privat stue for at komme på terrassen. Så skulle vi ringe på for at komme ind. Pilar er en sød og hjælpsom vært men vi manglede at være os selv så vi flyttede på hotel.

J'ai passé un merveilleux séjour chez Pilar dans la sublime Malaga.
Pilar est une personne très sympathique, accueillante et très attentionnée, qui saura vous conseiller avec précision.
Son penthouse et sa magnifique terrasse très propre, à 2 pas de la Place Merced et de tous les centres d'intérêt, sont bien agréables et confortables.
Le quartier est calme et paisible tout en étant à 2 pas du centre historique, à proximité de toutes commodités, bus, supermarchés ouverts tard...

Der Aufenthalt bei Pilar hat uns beiden sehr gefallen. Die Unterkunft ist einzigartig gut und sehr gepflegt. Pilar ist eine herzliche Gastgeberin welche unseren Urlaub in Malaga bereichert hat.

I decided to stay with Pilar after reading the previous reviews as I was booking a last minute trip to visit Malaga. Pilar is a great host, very friendly and was very understanding considering my Spanish isn't fantastic. She showed me local some places, reccomended some others, and was a great hostess. The apartment is very close to the historic centre and where most of the main places to visit are, which was,also a factor for me. Also, it isn't far to the less touristic bits if you want things more authentic. It's a perfect base for exploring from. The beach is probably 10 minutes away. Shopping centre easy walking distance again probably less than 10 tens to the main city centre shops. The area is level, feels very safe, people are friendly. I found Malaga to be a very elegant. I would definitely stay there again if returning to the city.

Locazione perfetta per visitare Malaga.
Posizione tranquilla e con pochi minuti a piedi è possibile raggiungere il centro storico di Malaga, il mare e tutti i principali punti di interesse turistici. All'interno dell'abitazione ci si sente come a casa propria grazie all'ottima accoglienza della padrona di casa, alla sua continua disponibilità ed alla sua accuratezza mostrata nel mantenere sempre perfette le condizioni di soggiorno. In pratica un posto in cui tornare senza cercare altro.Host reply

Ich habe Pilar als eine sehr freundliche, herzliche und hilfreiche Gastgeberin kennengelernt, welche immer angesprochen werden kann und hilft wo es geht.
Ihre Unterkunft ist sehr sauber, leise und toll zentral gelegen, sodass die Innenstadt fußläufig sehr gut zu erreichen ist.

When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
