I live in a large apartment in the center of Barcelona, in a quiet neighborhood with two very nice cats and two friends.
My apartment located in a quiet, beautiful and well connected neighborhood surrounded by several parks. Only 20 minutes walking from the beach and from plaza catalunya or from the "Sagrada Família" Temple! Renovated and decorated with care by myself recently try to have a modern, fresh and warm air to make it a cozy corner in the city with a special charm.
I have 4 bedrooms, two bathrooms, a good sized kitchen and a large dining room.
The single room "Cozy Small Room" is small but comfortable, it has two comfort mattresses for a pleasant rest, it is a sofa bed where two people can sleep comfortably. It has enough space to store clothes and suitcase. Perfect to rest and study.
The double bed room "Cozy Double Room" is a medium room but very cozy and well used, with a large closet to store your bags and belongings, a folding desk to study or organize your day and a
double bed with very comfortable viscoelastic mattress and also has a small fridge.
Apart from your room you have shared access to:
* Complete bathroom and renovated in a fresh and modern way with bathtub where you will have everything you need (hair dryer, etc ...)
* Kitchen recently renovated in a fresh way with breakfast area. It has a microwave, refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, kettle .. and washer and dryer.
I love to host and to know new cultures, I wish to welcome you in my home with a very warm welcome. You will have the privacy you need but we will be at your disposal at all times to help and assist you during your stay, if necessary.
I work in the beauty sector as na Master Nailtech. I loves nailart!
Note: Remember I have two kittens.. just because of the allergies, and I don't smoke.

About the Area
Great location in a quiet neighborhood near the center of Barcelona. Less than 15 minutes from the Sagrada Familia and only 20 minutes walk from the beach and harbor (you can also go by bus). It is relatively close to important cultural sites (Parc de la Ciutadella, zoo ...) and a 25 minute walk (or 5 minutes by subway) from Plaza Catalunya. The apartment is only 3 minutes from the Marina metro station (red line) and 5 minutes from Monumental (purple line) if you need it. Have 10 minutes to the train station Arc de Triomf and plenty of bus stops! Just five minutes from the bus station which goes directly to the airport in Girona!

* We live in a family and quiet neighborhood so it is very important for us that you respect the neighbors and be aware of the noise levels on the stairs and in the apartment.
* On the other hand, you have total freedom to leave and enter when you want but we are not on vacation so if you arrive late please remember that the next day we work and we need respect our rest.
* Please do not bring bath towels to the beach, we can provide you with beach towels if you wish.
* Please do not smoke in the apartment or in the room with the windows open, we are not smokers. If you want to smoke, you can do it on the street.
* We worry that you can feel at home and everything is in condition, please try to take care of it in the same way. If you use the kitchen or the bathroom just try to leave it in the same condition you found it.
* We have two cats and they are part of the family, they are very calm, you can play with them without problem.
* Most importantly, feel at home and enjoy Barcelona! :)

La ubicación está bien comunicada y el metro al lado. El piso estaba limpio y cuidado. La habitación es pequeñita simplemente para dormir. Melissa fue muy amable dejando que trajera a mi gatito conmigo. En el piso había otros dos gatitos muy majos que hicieron migas enseguida.

The room is small but has a window and is nicely and smart arranged. The bed is large and comfortable, the chest of drawers will fit all your belongings. Comfortable living room with balcony, well-equipped kitchen. Everything clean and well arranged. Melissa is very nice. We give 5.

Mel was such a great host! I loved the location of her home as it was walkable to so many great parks and beaches. The metro line is also close by if you want to get somewhere quickly. Her cats were friendly and helped make my stay feel more like home. It was fun having one of them as my “companion” while I worked remotely from the living room.
I loved eating my breakfast on the patio with coffee in the mornings. Mel had great tips on where to go and how to get around and was an all around amazing person to talk to!

Mel est une très gentille personne. Appartement très bien situé dans Barcelone. Le seul point négatif est que la maison n'est pas entretenue. La cuisine et les sanitaires ne sont pas propres. Le ménage ne peut pas être fait tous les 2 jours car il y a 2 crottes de chat sous la table de la salle à manger qui datent..... Et la cuisine est très sale.

Chère Magali, merci d'avoir choisi ma maison. Comme vous le savez bien et je l'explique dans le règlement, garder la maison propre est l'affaire de tous. Je balaie, époussette et prends une douche presque tous les jours le matin avant d'aller au travail. La cuisine est nettoyée à chaque fois qu'elle est utilisée (comme je l'ai dit à plusieurs reprises, je ne l'utilise jamais). Je rentre à la maison pour dormir et le nettoyer pour le garder en forme pour mes invités. Si vous louez une chambre et que vous ne nettoyez pas ce que vous avez sali pendant votre séjour, à la fin de la semaine l'appartement sera sale. La collaboration est uniquement demandée pour maintenir la propreté, si vous utilisez une chambre, laissez-la telle que vous l'avez trouvée, merci de ne pas attendre que je vienne la nuit pour la nettoyer.
Quant au chat, désolé pour la confusion, mais il n'y a jamais eu de caca de chat dans la salle à manger. Comme vous le savez bien, j'étais absent pour le week-end et ce n'est pas de chance que j'ai attrapé une boule de poils juste au moment où je partais pour le week-end, quand je suis arrivé, je l'ai nettoyé immédiatement mais je leur ai dit qu'il y avait un responsable qui pouvait venir à la maison pour rien, parce que je n'allais pas y aller. À aucun moment, ils ne m'ont contacté et cela aurait pu être résolu. La communication est essentielle.

Mel ist sehr nett, unkompliziert und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind wirklich sehr klein, aber man kann das Wohnzimmer, die Küche und den Balkon wirklich frei mitnutzen. Die Lage ist perfekt: in einer ruhigen Wohngegend und trotzdem ist vieles zu Fuß erreichbar.
Für deutsche Ansprüche könnte die Wohnung ein bisschen sauberer sein, aber für einen Städtetrip bei dem man eh mehr draußen unterwegs ist, ist es völlig ok, es wird aber auch regelmäßig geputzt.September 2022
Très bon accueil, hôte très gentille et non intrusive. Appartement bien situé. Le logement est fonctionnel. Le seul point négatif est l'hygiène, la cuisine est très sale.

Merci pour votre séjour et j'espère vous revoir! Je suis désolé pour la situation dans la cuisine, je ne cuisine pas d'habitude puisque mon alimentation est à 90% végétalienne crue. Je nettoie toute la maison tous les deux jours et je demande dans le règlement qu'elle soit entretenue, comme vous la trouvez ainsi, il faut la laisser mais ce n'est pas toujours comme ça et je ne suis pas chez moi 24h/24 et 7j/7... s'ils ont utilisé la cuisine et que quelqu'un ne respecte pas les règles jusqu'à ce que je rentre à la maison, je ne peux pas le réparer... heureusement, les invités le gardent généralement assez propre.

The room was very small and no conditioner , which was very sad , because it was around +40 every day .It was fan on the ceiling , but it didnt cool the room , but just helped a little vbt not to die . Room is in a central part of the city , which is really good , very close to the bus station and also metro is not far away . It is possible to use kitchen and leaving room , bathroom , but all these facilities you are sharing with another guests . Also our room had no lock , which is little vit strange , considering that you are sharing appartments .Owner is really nice and friendly and the price of the room was really good

When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
