The neighborhood is wonderful, beautiful, special, with pedestrian streets, unique in the city, and with little tourism.

HOUSE'S RULES:
- The maximum check-in time is 10:30 p.m.
- After 10:30 p.m. we do not make loud noises, and if we arrive very late we do it softly.
- You can not smoke inside the house, yes in the patio
- If I'm not at home and you have to give food and water to the kittens, and water the plants in the patio.
- We keep the house neat and tidy during the stay, and the value of the cleaning service is €36 for stays of up to 4 days, for longer stays, it is €50

No smoking inside, but on the patio.
If I am not at home, I would appreciate it if you could give food to the cats.
Upon arrival I deliver a welcome document with all the information.
You can use the patio all day, although after 10 p.m. we no longer make noise to take care of the neighbors.
For the reservation, 25% of the total is paid. If canceled up to 10 days before, it will be refunded. Same Homestay return policy.

For me and my friend this is a new experience of renting apartments for the short term stay.
The apartment is exact the same as on pictures in realty even better. The room itself very comfortable, bright an cozy. Near apartment are metro station, markets, cafes, etc…
We’ve got some fun also living together with three wonderful cats.Cristina is a very kind person with fast resolving of any issues and willing to help.

Cristina´s place is lovely! The house is in a super nice part of Barcelona and has a good connection to the city center. She has 3 lovely cats in a super cozy place. There are two terasses that you can use and everything is provided.
She answers super quickly and is really helpful just in case you need something.
If you want to visit BCN - you should visit this place.August 2023

First I would like to highlight the good things about staying at the house. The host Cristina is available and tries to answer all questions in short time. The house and the garden are spacious which is super convenient if you don't want to hang around in your room only. On warm days you can escape the heat by using the air conditioner in the living room. The cats are nice and calm. The place is quiet except of the neighbours who can randomly start singing at night or shouting during the day. The metro is 7 minutes away by walking. The supermarkets are also 5-10 min away. Personal recommendation is the Üla Cafe (7 min) with the best and cheapest breakfasts.
We were really disappointed by the level of cleaning though. You should be aware that there is an additional cleaning fee required which in our case was 145 Euros for 3.5 weeks. When we arrived, the house wasn´t clean at all, the towels and bed sheets didn´t smell clean neither. The carpet in our room looked like it was last time cleaned months ago. The cleaning lady came only 1.5 weeks after our arrival. If you are not lucky enough with the roomies as we were, you will have to clean bathroom and the kitchen on your own, because once a week is not enough. Moreover you will have to take care of cats, plants and wash your bed sheets before checking out, which we couldn't manage as we had to go to the airport at 4 a.m. I find the cleaning fee unreasonably high because if I am paying that much I expect at least shared rooms to be clean and I don't expect to be taking care of the whole house.Host reply
I am sorry to hear that your cleanliness levels and standards were not compatible with what you received in the house.
After 6 years of offering rooms in my home, this is the first time something like this has happened to me with a person.
Although of course there is always room for improvement, the energy from which you post this review shows your essence and the place from which you relate.
In the house rules, it says that the cleaning fee is 50€ per week. You have been in a house of 250 m2, with yard, land, animals.
When I go to someone else's private house, I worry about taking care if there are plants, if there are cats. It is the human and natural thing to do.
Even being 50€ per week, which includes products, household consumables and cleaning person, I have charged you less for a long stay and being two people. You can divide the total price per day and person, and being Barcelona, and rethink again if it seems excessive.
As you said, I have always been available to solve things, I have talked to the rest of the roommates, all this that you have put in the review at the end, you could have talked to me before.
The collective coexistence sometimes is not perfect and therefore it is better to consider whether we want this type of service or to be alone in an empty accommodation or in a hotel with daily services.

Cristina, très accueillante, est à l'écoute de ses hôtes. Dans cette maison ancienne typiquement barcelonnaise, où on se sent comme à la maison, la chambre et le patio sont agréables et très calmes. Repos garanti la nuit après des journées bien remplies. La proximité des transports en commun facilite l'accès au centre-ville. Compter néanmoins 1/2 h de trajet.

When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
