I live in a beautiful country house, surrounded by nature in a little village in central Portugal. Lots of nice places to visit in the region, pedestrian walks, local restaurants and lots of cultural events and museums nearby ( Sertã, Vila de Rei, Proença-a-Nova ...). In the summer you can enjoy lots of nearby river beaches. The weather is excellent for a sunny vacation in this area. I live in the house with two nice dogs, but the room I rent is totally independent if you don't want to have animals around. The room is very big and has a private access and a private bathroom. Otherwise, if you'r Ok with the dogs, you can use my big kitchen and living-room at you convenience. In you room you can make your own coffee/tea, you have a TV with dvd or for screening with your computer, at your disposal. Wi-fi is available. You can also access a part of the land (with some fruit trees) where you can be at ease in the exterior without the dogs. There is a nearby village (6min by car) where stores are always open and with some local cafés and restaurants, and Sertã is 18min away by car (a country town with everything needed).

About the Area
My house is located in the country side of Central Portugal. 17 km from Sertã, 14km from Vila de Rei, 16km from Proença-a-Nova, 88Km from Coimbra. The nearest facilities are in Cardigos, this village is 4,6km away.
There is are some beach rivers nearby ( Pego das Cançelas, 4 min by car and Praia do Bosteli, 6 min by car) + many other more just a little bit further away.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
