The private suite has everything you need for a pleasant stay. You will have a fully equipped bathroom, double bed, 2 comfortable seats and a table. There is no full kitchen in the suite but you do have a fridge, nespresso and microwave/oven. There is a supermarket and also plenty of take-out options within walking distance. We do not offer breakfast or meals.
The private entrance is located in the back of our beautiful and spacious garden which you are welcome to use. In the front garden we have a playground with 2 swings and a playhouse. We have 2 very curious daughters whom you will probably meet during your stay. You can park your car for free right in front of our house.
If we have time we love to have a chat and a cup of coffee and hear about you and your travels. We are happy to provide you with tips and advice where to go and how to get around.

About the Area
Oostzaan is a nice and quiet town with 2 supermarkets, 5 (take-out) restaurants and a few other shops. It's located next to the Twiske recreational area where you can walk, run, swim and play. The bus stop that is within 5 minutes walking distance will take you in about 30 minutes to the windmills at the Zaanse Schans or Amsterdam Central Station. By car the beach is at 25 minutes and the Zaanse Schans at 10 minutes. If you bring your bike it's only 20 minutes to the free of charge ferry that will take you to the heart of Amsterdam.

Independent studio without connected to the hosts' room. Excellent facilities and heating, friendly hosts, near bus station.

We stayed at Victor's homestay on our trip to Amsterdam and couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. Oostzaan is a lovely location and so was the place where we stayed, the room and bathroom had everything we needed for our trip. Everything was perfectly cleaned and it had all the appliances we needed. Mostly, we want to thank Victor for his willingness to help us get around with transportation and which places to visit. We will always remember the lovely location and our bike rides to the city center. Hoping to come back!

The room has everything you need. Victor is very welcoming and the communication is easy. We were able to enjoy our stay here and had the privacy we needed. The location of this stay is perfect, it is a very calm neighborhood yet it is close to the center of Amsterdam but also close to other tourist attractions such as 'De Zaanse Schans'. I definitely recommend staying here, it is a reasonable price and so worth it.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
