About the Area
My place is in between two famous spots in Kathmandu the Kopan Monastery and bouddha Stupa, so you can go on those place on foot on few minutes walk. You can get microbus and bus to any parts of the city. You can reach Thamel in just 20 minutes ride. It is close to main city yet very peaceful and less crowded place.
Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

Anil (and his family as well) very kind, welcoming and al around great people! It was an absolute pleasure staying with them for a month - they managed to make me feel like an honorary member of the family! Anil's house is very well located (close to Kopan Monastery), the house is very big and the room I was staying in was very pleasant. Anil's Mum is a great cook as well! :) I really hope we get to meet again at some point in the future!

My time at Anil's homestay was wonderful. He helped me navigate the local area as well as assisted me in travel logistics to and from his house. His family was an absolute pleasure to hang out with. The food they made me was delicious and uniquely flavored with herbs and vegetables from their home garden.
I would recommend their sanctuary in the Kathmandu region to anyone traveling thru the area. I hope to stay with them again sometime.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
