Bright and airy self catering private penthouse suite with own private entrance with ensuite shower room and small kitchenette equipped with toaster, kettle, fridge, 2 burner hob, microwave and mini oven leading to a lovely outdoor terrace and sunbeds. Fast wifi, flat tv with various tv stations. Fully equipped with emergency lights, smoke alarm, cctv outside property, good security, safe residential area, fire extinguisher, fire blanket, first aid kit, hand sanitizer, small home lift , full privacy, independent small apartment style and own keys, yet we are close by for whatever you may need. Complimentary cleaning service every forthnight. 15 mins by Taxi from Airport, 1 minute from bus stop. Fully Covid compliant. Books, umbrellas, beach mats, ironing facilities, board games etc available to borrow. Quiet residential area and just 100m round the corner from bus stops and supermarket, charity shop, hairdresser, confectionery. Pharmacy 5 min walk away. Seaside promenade ( great for walking / jogging ) and rocky beach under 5 min walk, restaurants and sandy beach 10 min walk.
Myself, my husband and adult daughter live on the property. Also available for longer stay Erasmus, internships or work as from 16th September - 30th June. Fully Licenced & inspected as a Host Family with the Malta Tourist Authority. We hosted our first students in 1990. New to Homestay but experienced hosts.

Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
No parties, or noise between 11pm - 7am and 2pm - 4pm. No smoking indoors. One guest can stay for a temporary visit up to 1 week at an additional charge and must be advised at least 10 days in advance. Max of 2 Adults on the property at any time. Please note we offer a complimentary cleaning service for long stays twice a month and cleaner would need to access the property to clean in the morning. Kindly note we require 20% deposit 60 days prior to arrival for stays over 7 days.

Marvic & Natalino are helpful and kind people. Whenever you have a question or any problem, you can just ask or tell them. They reply fast and care about your needs. Natalino cares about the suite whenever there is any problem to fix. Marvic can offer you lots of suggestions and (insider) tips for travelling, working etc. They let you spend your time alone, i.e., they are caring, but you don’t see them most of the time. That might be better if your partner or family member visits you as my boyfriend visited me there 5 times and he just saw them once/twice. He had to put the money in an envelope and met them much later. He didn’t like that. We also had to ask for towels every weekend he spent there. That could also be better as we both paid per night when he visited me. The cleaner is not really reliable and she could work better as I told Marvic, but if you don’t spend all the time in the suite, it might be no prob :D. Anyway, penthouse suite nr. 15 might be one of the best apartments there and the family is really nice. Apart from that, the price is really good (if you won’t get visited/stay there by yourself and for a longer time). Marsaskala is a small town in the Eastern of Malta and near the coast. It’s quiet, but so beautiful and you can get easily to Valletta by bus. You’ll definitely enjoy the sea, peaceful places & few bars and restaurants in Marsaskala. Enjoy your stay.

Thanks for your review, as clearly stated in the description this is a private self catering suite, hence guests should cater for themselves in everything. We offer a complimentary cleaning and laundry service at no extra charges to our guests. We also require advance notice of any extra guests for insurance, security and housekeeping services. We are glad you enjoyed your stay in Malta :)

The stay at Marvic's place exceeded our wildest expectations!
We were welcomed with wine and a sweet snack, we were shown around the apartment, which is even more attractive than the photos show. During our stay we felt like at home. The apartment is clean, nicely decorated, wonderfully equipped (kitchen utensils, pots, dishes, two powerful fans, socket adapters, basic cosmetics, towels, beach equipment, books, board games and many more!) and spacious. and this terrace... Marvic and Natalino are very thoughtful hosts. They help in planning your stay, suggest where to go, react very quickly to any inquiries and, on their own initiative, they can write, for example, about bad weather and no fast ferries between Malta and Gozo im particular day. You can feel that they really care. Very cheerful, communicative and warm people :)
I highly recommend staying at their place!Marsaskala is a small town with a charming promenade, three beaches (near apartament) and not crowded with tourists. If you want to rest in the south of Malta, just here!

Marvic and her husband are caring and friendly people. Whenever I had questions, they were always there for me to help and responded within minutes. The apartment was perfectly equipped and made me feel like home. Every fortune a cleaner comes, so you don’t even have to think about cleaning. You have your own apartment but whenever you feel lonely you know, that someone is downstairs. I can recommend Marvic‘s place to everyone!

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
