I stayed with Chihiro and Yuri for about three weeks. They are both kind and easy to talk with. My arrival was made easy as I was met at the station and taken to the house.
I was invited out to do things during my stay with them which added fun experiences and memories to my time in Japan which I wouldn't have had otherwise. Even though they were busy with work they still gave up some of their free time to chat with me which I appreciated. I'm happy they let me stay in their home for the final three weeks of my trip to Japan. The house is very modern and clean. They have a very nice kitchen which I was permitted to use freely. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the room also has a good sized desk.
The location is an outstanding aspect of this homestay. It's a short walk to the Skytree which has marvellous food stores and all other kinds. I still wasn't bored of going there by my final day.
The station is also close-by and it was always a relatively short journey to the places I wanted to visit in Tokyo. There was also no need to transfer when going to Haneda airport.
There is a 'pay per visit' gym which is about a 20-30 minute walk from the house.June 2017
Wunderbarer Aufenthalt im Schatten des Skytree. Chihiro und Yuri haben sind hervorragende Gastgeber und wir hatten eine Menge Spaß zusammen. Empfehle ich sehr gerne weiter!

Yuri and Chihiro were both lovely and really made me feel part of the home. They speak excellent English, and were very clear up front about the (few, simple) rules of the homestay, e.g. Not smoking, and being quiet after a certain time of night. I had the freedom to come and go, doing what I wanted with my trip, but also the comfort of casually chatting with Yuri and Chihiro when we were all around, which was perfect for me!
There are plenty of food places nearby in the direction of either station which are about 10 minutes walk away. The home is exactly as shown in the images - modern, clean and reasonably spacious by Tokyo standards. Usually I always try to go to new places even if I travel back to the same city, but in a 6 week trip travelling Japan, this was my favourite place I stayed and I'd definitely go back there.

I've been to Japan several times, but staying at Chihiro and Yuri's place was by far the most pleasant experience I've ever had so far.
The logistics are superb, you have everything you might possibly need nearby, and you can reach most of the popular tourist spots of Tokyo just within an hour by train. The place is easy to find coming from Narita airport, but Chihiro and Yuri even offered to pick me up at the train station.
Chihiro and Yuri are not only funny and cheerful hosts, they are also very attentive, paying attention to you even though they are busy with their lives. They are also great cooks, so if you ever get the chance to eat together with them, definitely do it!
The whole place was tidy and clean, and I never had any other problem related to the host family during a month. The guest room and the bed are rather large compared to Japanese sizes, so that's also a plus. As you can see on the images, the place is decorated in a fashionable manner, and some of the decorations are actually handmade by the hosts.
You won't get the traditional homestay experience with a big family and kids, but you get to see how young people live in Japan. If you are interested in that, or if you are just looking for a place in a good location, I can recommend Chihiro and Yuri's place.
