Hello, my name is KIKI, I offer a delightful homestay experience for guests looking to enjoy their time to the fullest. My property is made of two houses next to each other: one where guests stay, and one where I live. You can always find me in the house next door, ensuring a secure and comfortable stay for all guests.
This home is ideal for those who value their privacy and cherish personal time. I understand the importance of creating a perfect homestay, allowing guests to enjoy both a welcoming atmosphere and moments of solitude. However, it's worth noting that if constant company is a priority for you, this may not be the most suitable option.
I strive to maintain a warm and inviting environment, balancing the presence of a host nearby with the freedom for guests to explore and unwind at their own pace. Sakai is conveniently located for day trips to Wakayama, Nara and Kyoto. It is in a very quiet location, with a spacious garden and in a quiet, peaceful town. You will feel right at home. There is a supermarket a 3-minute walk away and the nearest train station is an 8-minute walk away.
Easy access to/from Kansai Airport by train, so you can leave your big suitcase behind and enjoy Kyoto, Osaka, Nara and USJ.

About the Area
Sakai is a city full of history, with many small museums, shops and restaurants to explore in the area, on foot or by bike! It's also home to Emperor Nintoku's Mausoleum, a World Heritage Site dating to the 5th century, located just 10 minutes away by foot. I walk around it every day early in the morning and you are free to join me!
The house is an 8 minute walk from Mikunigaoka railway station, with direct trains to popular Osaka areas like Nanba (15 minutes by train) and Tennoji (10 minutes by train). There are also direct trains to Kansai Airport (40 minutes). Sakai is also conveniently located for day trips to Nara, Kyoto, Wakayama, or Koyasan (one of Japan’s most sacred sites with more than 100 temples). You will never run out of things to do in the area!
The house is in a quiet residential neighbourhood but still close to shops, with a supermarket just 3 minutes away.

Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
