Large, bright and very spacious double bedroom, with workspace to rent in a 4 bedroom end-of-terrace house. This ia a well-situated, and well-connected, family-occupied North Dublin (D13) home. Close to the airport and an easy commute to the city center (by both bus and DART train services). You'll find tranquility in the surrounding beaches (Portmarnock, Sutton, & Balscadden) and parks (Father Collins, St.Annes & Malahide Castle), along with the hustle and bustle of Dublin City Centre just 10km/30 minutes away. The house is A-rated - meaning it's well-insulated & warm in the winter, and fresh and cool in the summer. We are a family of 4 (2 parents, 1 child, 1 dog in her golden years) + a live in au pair. You can expect both English and Spanish to be spoken here. I (the mother) am Irish, so a fluent native English speaker with some Spanish. My partner is Spanish so is a native Spanish speaker.

Please note that this is an owner/family-occupied home. This means that the house is generally in full swing by 7am on weekdays, and by 8/9am at the weekends. This is a great place to stay if you study or work in Dublin city centre, or surrounding areas - as it's well connected.

You'll find your room on the 2nd floor along with a shared bathroom (with shower, bath, wash basin, and toilet- shared with x1 person in the house). In your room, you’ll find a king-size bed along with plenty of storage including a wardrobe and underbed storage. The room has a dedicated workspace including a desk, monitor, mouse and keyboard (on request). We can also swap out the workspace (monitor etc.) for a TV with a smart stick instead. It also has a coffee table and a leather reclining couch.

Your room has 2 beautiful Juliet balconies with French doors that overlook the park which is just across the road. The sun sets on this side of the house so in the summer months it’s quite relaxing to sit in the sun with the French doors open, listening to the birds chirping.

There is a strong WiFi connection (included in the price).

Full use of fully equipped kitchen available for long term stays (3 weeks +).

How do I book?

Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.

When do I pay?

Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
