About the Homestay
Welcome! We are a working couple a family with 2 children living in the Dublin 11 area. We have one double room free which we are happy to rent on a short or long-term basis, light breakfasts and evening meal included. There is an excellent choice of bus links close by which travel to the city and beyond. The 40, 40d, 40e,220, 17 bus routes are all close by with typical bus journey time to the city centre 20 minutes. While the M50 is easily accessible.
While you live with my family local to the area, you can make the most out of everyday conversations in a relaxed environment. Spending time with native speakers will encourage you to learn new words in new ways that you can’t always pick up in the classroom.
While exploring unknown pathways and taking the wrong bus leading you to a quaint village can be exciting and is often how we discover the coolest hidden gems, sometimes we just have to be somewhere on time. Living with a host family will teach you how to travel like a local.
Ever wondered what families eat for dinner in Ireland? Perhaps you’re keen to experience this. We love to cook. Although each family does it differently, this will give you invaluable insights into local life.
