The World Masters Games is calling New Zealand home in 2017. And if you're one of the lucky people heading off to take in all the excitement, you may be having a hard time finding a place to stay.
That's where we come in. We have hundreds of homestays all across Auckland and they are all available for the events. Here are just a few of them.
Stay in Joel's wonderfully stylish house which is conveniently located in between the city centre and the airport in Hillsborough. A beautiful area in Auckland near the coast with two beautiful beaches close by and a bus stop down the road which will take you right into the city.
Take your pick of rooms in Shane's sunny homestay in the coastal town of Glendowie. Enjoy half or full board as Shane loves to cook for her guests, or just go for your free breakfast and chow down in the many restaurants nearby. Hop on a bus from directly outside the homestay and be downtown with 35 minutes. This is a perfect accommodation option for the games. Don;t forget to get to know little Dachshund, Charlie.
Violet's home is in an ideal location for those wanting to hop on a bus or take the train into the city. Sometimes being a little outside of the madness can keep you sane. Choose from one of three rooms in Violet's lovely five bedroomed homestay, and become part of the family during your stay.
Denise's lovely homesaty in Remuera offers a self-contained room, with ensuite, a separate kitchen, and a lounge area. You can choose to hang out in Newmarket in between the games which is only a five-minute walk from the homestay or you can grab a train or bus into the city centre. You'll also get to know Denise's two little pooches!
For unbeatable convenience, go for Tatiana's homesaty in Epsom which is within walking distance of both Central City attractions as well as beautiful nature reserves and buzzing gourmet farmers markets.
So there are a few of our favourite hosts in Auckland, but we have hundreds more to choose from. Enjoy the games!
