Explore Prague by walking
You won’t find a better spot for exploring the historical center of Prague. Romantic accommodation in the attic room with the view of Prague Castle and Thun Palace of the British Embassy. The room has got a separate bathroom.
The house belongs to the Prague’s oldest houses built under the Castle in the gothic period (1405) and rebuilt into a Baroque Palace later. The apartment itself is huge with typical attic space original baroque wooden beams. The stay is an ideal location for exploring the city center just by walking. 10 minutes walking distance to the Prague Castle as well as Charles Bridge, 15 minutes to the Jewish Town etc. Very quiet place with unique atmosphere. Our family will happily help you with any question about the city and the country. We love good food and love to share our passion for it. We are interested in culture, traveling and politics, so if you need any companionship, you are welcome. And if you prefer intimacy and privacy, you are welcome as well, because our guest room is separate from the rest of our big apartment.

Katerina, Martin and Noemi were delightful. We enjoyed the luxury of living in an historic home that is comfortable and spacious. Their home is within walking distance of many interesting places to visit.

Great host, great apartment, great location, great view, but not for the faint of heart--lots of steep stairs to climb.

This is really a wonderful place and these are wonderful people to stay with. Everything was fine, and I felt I could ask them if I needed anything. Katarina gave us some great tips on authentic restaurants and bars to visit. We really enjoyed our time in Prague and their accommodations and hospitality were a big part of that!

My daughter and I stayed at Katerina's during the Easter holidays and had a fantastic time. The house is central yet quiet and we felt welcomed by Katerina and her family. The room was comfortable and with a traditional touch which we really enjoyed. We would recommend it to future visitors.

The best of travel may be experiencing new perspectives that increase your understanding of history and world view different from your own. Just being there is part of it. Interacting with a family who is willing to share experiences of their culture, and who choose to live life on their terms, enhanced our trip exponentially. Gratitude for being stretched in what it means to be a citizen of Prague, indeed of being a world citizen, is given to Katya, Martin, and family. Thank-you!

Katerina is an excellent French and Czech food chef. It was really fun and enjoyable when cooking with her family. She has a lovely daughter which loves eating and cooking very much. The house is very nice and located in central old town. Just 5-10min walk to the Prague castle. Transportation is easy. There's a few flights of stairs in the building as well as inside the house. Do be careful when walking with large suitcases.

I booked this home stay for a friend of mine but got to know the hosting family. They are absolutely wonderful people! Very kind, interesting and generous, and the house is a historical residential palace in one of the most beautiful parts of Prague, belonging for generations to a Czech family. My friend, a well known pianist, felt very welcome and gave a house concert after breakfast. For me, it was a very special experience to meet Katerina and her husband. Their home is a place of universal values; they not only share a wide scope of cultural and political interests, but also an inspiring way of life, and a care for humanity. A warm and cosy home; great people I can highly recommend!
