Located just 100 meters from the ViAzul Bus Station, very close to the historical center of Trinidad, the Juan Fernandez Hostel is the ideal accommodation for large families or large groups of friends as it has 4 spacious rooms. We live on the property, and are available to offer guidance and assistance to guests. The neighborhood is quiet, with paved streets, with several houses and restaurants around. The house has a maximum capacity for 11 guests. All rooms are located on the second level of the house, have balconies, private terraces and are heated with quiet splits. Each one has a private indoor bathroom, the hot and cold water supply is permanent, they have the necessary elements for personal hygiene such as soap, shampoo, towels and toilet paper.
The hosts, Juan Fernandez in particular, are very friendly and sociable people, always available to recommend the best places to visit in the city, beaches and nearby valleys. Juan is a taxi driver and offers travel services to the beach, valleys and cities such as Cienfuegos, Santa Clara, etc. Book in this house and inform the family of your arrival time to wait for it at the point of arrival if you wish.

Juan y Dianelis fueron unos buenos anfitriones con nosotras. Estuvimos 2 noches en su casa y la tarde que llegamos estaba lloviendo mucho. Su esposa fue a recogernos a la estación de bus con un paraguas. El desayuno es abundante y rico (sobre todo el jugo de guayaba). La habitación es muy confortable. Además Juan es taxista y nos llevó a Playa Ancón de excursión una tarde por un módico precio. Muy recomendable alojarse aquí.
Juan and Dianelis were an excellent hosts. We stayed 2 nights in their home and his wife received us the first evening at the bus station with an umbrella because the rain was heavy. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty (especially the guayaba juice). Juan is taxi driver and take us to ancón beach in a cheap trip. The room was confortable. Great!May 2018

Very friendly couple. The lady prepares an amazing breakfast and her husband is a taxi driver. You can book there a day trips or ask Juan to take you on a day trip with his taxi.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
