Martha and Lazarus The hostel is a family that rent 5 comfortable rooms with a total capacity for 14 people, making it ideal for large groups of friends and families. It is located in one of the main streets of Trinidad, as it is just 100 meters from the exit of the city towards La Boca beach and within walking distance of the colonial part of town where you can enjoy the main tourist centers open to international tourism. Upon reaching the city you are expected if desired at the point of arrival and at home and is offered a fruit cocktail or a free drink as welcome.
The 5 air-conditioned rooms are air-conditioned, have fans and large windows. Bathrooms are private inside every room, with hot and cold water 24/7. Martha and Lazarus, the hosts, are very friendly people who will keep you informed about any topic you want about the city and will recommend the best places. They specialize in making exquisite dishes based on fresh seafood and typical foods of Cuba.
Note: Confirm and reconfirm the reservation two days before arrival. Otherwise you risk losing the reservation. Inform the family of his hour of arrival and will be expected at the point of arrival.

Lazaro was nice enough but the room leaves a lot to be desired in terms of toilet being a little annoying and no hot water either as was advertised.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
