We are a small family: my daughter Ileana, her boyfriend Etien, and my 3 years old grand-daughter Nina. I have traveled a lot and speak English, French and German, I l work as assistant to my chief, the representative of a french company in Cuba.
Ileana is a theater teacher at the International School of Havana and also the representative or a very good group of musicians "Interactivo" , integrated by very good performers, she will surely love to invite you to hear them. She speaks English very well. Etien is a rap musician, he will try to communicate a little in English. All of us have friends all over the world.
The apartment is part of our house, only a door separates us. It has an independent entry which means that the family will not interfere with your privacy. It is composed by a very well illuminated bedroom (5 windows) with air conditioning, a small sitting room, bathroom and kitchen. We have hot water in both the kitchen and the bathroom. The kitchen is equipped and you will be able to cook there if you wish.
We live in a nice, safe and peaceful neighborhood with good communication with the rest of the city.
Near the house you will find a lost of facilities as restaurants , hotels, and internet access among others.

About the Area
Our house is located north of the city in a really quiet and safe area, only 3 blocks away from the sea where you can find some place to bath, but the nice sand beaches are east of Havana, about 25 min. away. About 300 ms you will find de 5fth Ave. a nice promenade to practice jogging.
There are lots of collective taxis, mostly old-timers that will take you to the center and to Old Havana in 15 minutes.
In the area there are many beautiful hotels with swimming pools, cafes, bars, restaurants. You have free access to the Bureau of Tourism where you can book visits to interesting places in the city.

House Rules
I kindly request guests to smoke outside the house.
I don't admit parties or unannounced visitors. Pets are also not admitted.
I appreciate if guests take good care of the electric appliances, as for example if they close doors and windows when the air conditioning is on, and if they turn off lights and fans before leaving the room.
A small kitchen will allow you to prepares your meals.
If you need to wash your cloth our employe can do it for a small price previously agreed with her, otherwise you can have access to our laundry facilities (washing machine and cords to hang the cloth).

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
