We have baptized our House with the name of "Amelia" in honor of its first owner. Casa "Amelia was built in 1941 by one of the most famous architects of the time: Cristobal Diaz González, neocolonial style, is located in the residential neighborhood of La Ceiba in Playa, a few meters from the legendary Tropicana cabaret, but strategically located in relation to transport routes, since we are located between two main arteries of the City.
We have remodeled part of the property (without affecting the original design) to receive our guests. We offer a space of 2 floors with independent access. We will always be in the best disposition to assist you and assist you in your travels in the city, paying attention to your needs, but with respect to your privacy. Upon entering the property you will find a garden and a nice portal that invites you to enjoy a good Cuban coffee in the morning or a cold drink in the afternoon. The space, meanwhile has a cozy living room on the ground floor, and a comfortable room on the top floor, which has a private bathroom, 2 beds, air conditioning, TV, minibar service, also has free parking space just in front of your access, we also offer succulent and hearty breakfasts. Ideal for family, friends or couples. We are waiting for you!

About the Area
We are very close to Cabaret Tropicana, between two main arteries of the city, so it will have easy access to public transport routes, road and our famous taxis. Avenida 70, just steps away, has a simple and direct route to the coast of Miramar, in any way, whenever you wish, you will have us for any indication you need. The approximate time to the airport is 20 minutes, to the historic city center and the busy Old Havana is about 15 to 20 minutes by taxi and 10 minutes to Vedado.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
