We are a family of five, all professionals except our baby! We love arts in general but in particular music, photography, wood sculptures, and good movies!! Enrique (55), better known as Kiki, is a Mechanical Engineer who likes wood carving and makes beautiful sculptures. He is also an amateur radio enthusiast and father of Leslie (27) and Lesbia´s (49) husband. Jorgito (29), Leslie´s husband, is an excellent chef and drives a 1957 convertible Buick. The hay the cutest baby girl, shhe is only 2 yesrs old!! This family won´t be complete without their dogs Asio, a Labrador. We all, including the dog!!, speak English. Kiki and Lesbia have more than 12 years of experience renting the house as hosts!!!!
Our house is located in the top floor of a two stories building built in 1935 and we have excellent neighbors. There is a terrace with plants in the front area of the house ideal for a sun bath or simply relax with a coffee or a cold Cuban beer. This colonial style house preserves 95% of the original tiles and beautiful high ceilings raising beyond 5 meters above the floors. We keep in excellent shape lots of classic wooden furniture and they are older than all of us!!

About the Area
Our neighborhood is beautiful and safe. Vedado was built during the first 50 years of the XX Century mainly by the Cuban bourgeois so you will see lots of mansions and fancy houses mixed with nice apartment buildings, green spaces, wide avenues and plenty of choices for your night life. We are within a walking distance from the Revolution Square, the Christopher Columbus Cemetery and many new private restaurants and bars.
We are at 300 ft. from 23rd Avenue, the main artery of Vedado, full of cinemas, theatres, good places for lunch, dinner or hang out at night. Public transportation is available on 23 Avenue to go to Old Havana with a 15 minutes ride. Vedado is perfect to walk and see its marvels of architecture. We have two banks nearby and an agro market. We can also assist you with your transfers to the airport for a flat rate. Please let us know if you need it.

Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

How do I book?
Contact the host about your stay - tell them a little about yourself, why you are staying and ask any questions you have about their homestay. You will be able to book immediately after sending your message.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
