We have nice rooms at TWO DIFFERENT LOCATIONS: Consulado street, Villegas street (in Old Havana), all of them with balcony to the city, private bathroom, air conditioner, safe box, refrigerator, etc. We offer service of pick you up at the airport in an official taxi. We also offer breakfast you may order before.
We are in a very central locations at Havana City; very close the historic center, only one block to the emblematic Prado avenue, at a few minutes walking to the Capitol, to the Malecón, to the Central Park, to several hotels, museums, etc. Neighborhood is safe and quite, but plenty of life, all together it make you a pleasant and unforgettable stay at Havana City.

LUGARES CERCANOS
Las habitaciones de las calles Consulado y Villegas están a pocos metros de una de las calles encantadoras en La Habana (Paseo del Prado) 300 metros del Museo de la Revolución, 400 metros de la Avenida de Malecón (el mar), 500 metros del Capitolio, y 50 metros de los Hoteles Lido, Sevilla y Caribean. Hay muchos bares y restaurantes cercanos donde puede cenar y beber a precios económicos.

About the Area
KEEP IN MIND WE HAVE THREE LOCATIONS: Hostal Balcones Consulado (due to technical reasons of the web site this is the only one is in the map) and Hostal Balcones Villegas are in the old side of Havana, and Hostal Balcones Calzada is in Vedado, the new part of Havana city.
The locations in the old side of the city are in the vicinity of the historic center, just at few steps from one of the most charming streets in Havana “El Paseo del Prado” quite close to The Malecon (the Caribbean sea and the Habana Bay), to the Central Park, the Capitol, to very famous and glamorous hotels like Sevilla, Central Park, Telegraph, Inglaterra, Gran Hotel Manzana-Kempinski, etc. We have also museums and several touristic and historical places at a few meters from us. Hostal Balcones Calzada located in the new area of Havana, is near to the Malecon, the US Embassy, the Presidente Hotel, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, etc. But the most important thing is in all of them you will receive a warm and friendly service.
TENGA EN CUENTA QUE TENEMOS TRES UBICACIONES: El Hostal Balcones Consulado (por razones técnicas del sitio Web este es el único señalado en el mapa) y el Hostal Balcones Villegas están situados en la parte antigua de la ciudad, mientras que el Hostal Balcones Calzada está en el Vedado, la zona nueva de La Ciudad de La Habana.

Nuestra estancia en La Habana en los Balcones de Villegas fue estupenda. La habitación y el baño estaban limpios, las zonas comunes también. La casa es muy bonita, de estilo colonial las habitaciones son espaciosas y tienen balcones. Esta muy bien situado en La Habana vieja, es una zona muy céntrica y un poco ruidoso por su localización. El internet no funcionaba. Lilien fue estupenda y muy atenta en todo momento. Sin duda recomendamos los Balcones de Villegas.

Room in Old Havanna: Good location (close to all relevant sights in old havanna), nice room, very clean. A bit noisy in the morning. Great breakfast.
Apartment in Vedado: Bad experience with apartment in Vedado they recommended us. Apartment was big, but we had no electricity and therefore no light (just this apartment, the other apartments in the house had electricity). Either they did not tell us where to activate the main switch, or there was no electricity there at all as they wanted to sell the apartment.December 2017
This ia a great place to stay in Habana, with a very friendly staff that helps you to find your way. It is clean, nice and a good breakfast as a start for exploring the city. Highly recommended to other guest. And yes the balconys have a nice view too.

Casa muito bem localizada, limpa e com pessoas muito simpáticas e prestáveis. Excelente opção para quem quer conhecer La Habana e estar perto de tudo.

Our stay at Isabel was fantastic. We had the place close to the malecon in Vedado. Breakfast was an option and very nice. If we had any questions for travels we got help from Isabel and her son. Very helpful and welcoming. I strongly recommend homestay at their place.

We spent 1 night at Isabel's place and I would definitely recommend this casa. The room was the best we had in Cuba. High ceilings, nice balcony, private bathroom, bueatiful hallway and only 2 blocks away from the main promenade in Central Havana (leading to famous Capitol). Host were very helpful. They have arranged us taxi to the airport. We have also used the minibar which was very reasonably priced.

Be careful with your reservation at this Casa; we had a written reservation made at the end of our first stay at the Casa itself, written in their Book. When we came back at ten pm after a 7-hour bus ride two weeks later we were told there was no place because another couple had taken our room because they were going to stay 3 nights and we only one...
We were taken to another Casa with different standards of comfort for same price. Too tired to walk and search for a better Casa...we took the room, unhappy.
Maybe this unacceptable situation is due to the fact that Isabel doesn't live in her Casa but in Spain which doesn't work well with her employees who try to make things work from the Casa in Havana.
However, these employees do their jobs well when it comes to caring for their guests.

Good location and comfortable. Only stayed one night but happy with the accommodation and location.

Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
