Casa Giraldilla, family home in the Historic Center of Havana, Cuba.
Restored house maintaining its Colonial appearance from the 1920s. It is located on the first floor, with a high ceiling, providing clarity and freshness. My husband, our 5-year-old daughter and I, a young couple, live in the house, interested in the guest knowing the customs and traditions of the City and the country, in addition to providing a quality service for the best enjoyment of their stay.
The rooms have a window or balcony facing the street, being bright and fresh. They are properly heated. The bathroom is private for each room, with hot and cold water.
The house makes available to the client the spacious dining room, with its corner balcony allowing to see the streets and nearby centers of interest such as the Museum of Fine Arts and the Museum of the Revolution. In addition to the Terrace on the Roof, where we serve breakfast.
You can contract the continental breakfast service, with an additional cost of 5 EUR, with prior notice.

About the Area
Our house is located near the Obispo Street, the Museum of Fine Arts and just steps from the Museum of the Revolution. Near the Malecon, Paseo del Prado, Plaza de la Catedral, museums, bars and other tourist points of interest.
It is the oldest of Cuban, historical and cultural capital area. It is characterized by its urban layout surrounded by the remains of the wall that for centuries protected the city from possible foreign attacks.
Today, Old Havana is one of the most visited tourist areas and city.
In this area we can also find several leisure options and restaurants, ranging from Creole cuisine to international For lovers of literature and culture, you can find many libraries, museums and shops (clothing and crafts).

This casa was an inexpensive stay in the heart of Old Havana. It was easy to access the common sites within a 10-15 minute walk. The home was clean and as advertised. I enjoyed breakfast on three of the mornings and it was great, simple Habana fare. They were helpful with transportation (airport and to Varadero) and helping me exchange money. I'd be happy to stay again.

Nuestra estancia en casa Giraldilla fue simplemente perfecta. Desde el momento en que llegamos, fuimos recibidos con una calidez y hospitalidad que hicieron que nos sintiéramos como en casa.
La casa es un verdadero tesoro en La Habana, combinando el encanto tradicional sin faltar la comodidad. Las habitaciones están limpias y acondicionadas reflejando la auténtica esencia cubana.
Pero lo que realmente hizo especial esta experiencia fue la amabilidad y el cariño de las personas a su cargo. Siempre estuvieron dispuestas a ayudarnos.
Los desayunos en la terraza con fruta fresca nacional, una delicia.
Recomendamos esta casa a cualquier persona que busque una experiencia auténtica y llena de cariño en Cuba.

Muy atentas a todas nuestras necesidades. Alojamiento limpio, bonito y céntrico sin estar en zona muy turística. Opción de desayuno en la terraza, muy bonita.

We enjoyed our stay in Havana in the house of Carmen and Carlos very much. It was very clean, nice, spacy rooms and a good breakfast on a nice terras on the roof. We would certainly go there again next time.

Una casa bonita y de techos altos en pleno centro de habana vieja, muy bien situada al lado del museo de la revolución. Habitación sencilla y cama y baños igual. No esperes lujo pero si un lugar limpio y agradable. Las zonas comunes son preciosas. La casa está plenamente dedicada al servicio a huéspedes con lo cual no es que vivas con una familia cubana. Pero los que la operan son amabilísimos. Desayuno a 5$ correcto pero sencillo (considerando que en cuba es muy difícil de acceder a cualquier cosa)

The house is beautiful and in a very interesting part of Old Havana. Our hosts made sure we had everything we needed and we had a comfortable night's sleep and a very good breakfast.
How do I book?
Contact the host about your stay - tell them a little about yourself, why you are staying and ask any questions you have about their homestay. You will be able to book immediately after sending your message.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. When can I share my contact details?
