Hostal Barón Balbín
Palace of the beginning of the XX century (1912) and beautiful baroque architecture, unbeatable located in the heart of the city just 100 meters from the Martí Park and 300 meters from the beautiful bay of Cienfuegos.
Thanks to its excellent location in the historic center of the city, in a few minutes you can visit the boulevard a pedestrian avenue with shopping and craft centers, restaurants and cafes, the city museum, the cathedral church and the Tomas Terry Theater.
Our hostel has several rooms, spacious and elegant, exquisitely decorated with classic style furnishings.
It also has a beautiful colonial patio and large terraces, decorated with ornamental plants and furniture suitable for the delight of the guests.
On the third floor is the lookout with a large terrace, from which you can enjoy excellent panoramic views of the entire city and the beautiful bay.
The house has 5 spacious bedrooms, all with more than 25 square meters, decorated with an elegant design and wooden furniture in classic style, with double beds and air conditioning with Split type air conditioning. Very large bathrooms with hot and cold water.
Guests can enjoy breakfast, snacks, lunch and dinner offered by the chef's excellent menu, both in the official dining room, the colonial patio or the terraces.
I live in the property and I will share with you the stay and with other guests and my friends who visit me, you will be offered a light breakfast that is included in the price. I hope to see you soon.
Grand Suite Room
This is the most spacious and luxurious room of our hostel.
It has a spacious separate living room, furnished with comfortable sofas and other furniture to ensure rest and reading and with three large private balconies overlooking the street.
The bedroom and its large living room enjoy plenty of natural light and both are decorated with an elegant design and classic wooden furniture.
The bedroom has a double bed with comfortable mattress.

Spacious bathroom with bathtub, hot and cold water.
Guests of the Grand Suite are offered:

Palacio de principio del siglo XX (1912) y bella arquitectura barroca, inmejorablemente situado en el pleno centro de la ciudad a escasos 100 metros del Parque Martí y 300 metros de la bella bahía de Cienfuegos.
Gracias a su excelente ubicación en pleno centro histórico de la ciudad, en pocos minutos se puede visitar el Bulevar una avenida peatonal con centros comerciales y artesanales, restaurantes y cafeterías, el museo de la ciudad, la iglesia Catedral y el Teatro Tomas Terry.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
