The Hostal Castell-mar is a two-room apartment, each with its own bathroom, one of the rooms has a kitchen, located on the second floor. It consists of a terrace with sea view, and a living room, all independent of the rest of the house. It is ideal for friends, couples and families with children. Its location allows you to walk around the most interesting sites of the city. You can enjoy the beautiful view of the bay and sunset at dusk.

About the Area
The area Hostal Castell Mar is special that it is located at the same distance from the historic center and the entrance of Punta Gorda, has 10 meters the Polivalente Plaza de Cienfuegos, and various recreational facilities like, Rapid , Dinos Plaza, among others.
It is easy to walk to the main areas of the center and the tourist area of Punta Gorda Cienfuegos. Just 100 meters away is a bus stop allowing you to explore the city from end to end in a more economical way.

Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt bei Maricel, die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Im Kühlschrank sind alle notwendigen Getränke vorhanden. Das Frühstück für 5 CUC pro Person ist auch riesig, wir konnten gar nicht alles essen. Es gab frischen Fruchtsaft, Kaffee und Milch, frisches Obst, Sandwich, Eier Omelett, Gebäckteile, Plätzchen, Wurst und Käse, Brot usw. Die Klima im Schlafzimmer war Perfekt. Natürlich gab es auch noch einen großen Fernseher. Die Terrasse mit den Schaukelstühlen hat mir besonders gut gefallen, da Sie im ersten Stock ist kann man bis zum Malecon sehen. W-Lan ist auch vorhanden, eine Stunde für zwei CUC ist OK für Cuba. Maricel und Ihr Mann waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Ich kann diese Casa wirklich empfehlen, ich war schon in einigen Casas in Cienfuegos, aber das war die Beste.

Maricel and Jorge were our favourite homestay in Cuba! They looked after us really well and we will even keep in touch after the holiday! Their family is very welcoming and we loved the balcony looking out over the bay!

Maricel and Jorge are great hosts, and very welcoming. The room is perfectly fine for what you get. It is located more or less between the two parts of the town.

El grupo de Thomas son excelentes personas, educados, tranquilos y se relacionan fácilmente, estamos satisfecho de su estancia en nuestro hostal, aun cuando fue muy corto el tiempo para conocer las bondades de nuestra ciudad, dejaron buen recuerdo ente nosotros.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
