We are a lovely family of six, with four children. Oh, we have another family member, a German Shepherd who guards our backyard and keeps us safe. My children are well-mannered and know not to disturb others. Most of the time, they are at school or attending various extracurricular activities. They go to bed before 10 PM.
Our house is located in a quiet neighborhood, a 4-minute walk to Central Park, less than half an hour from downtown and Metrotown Shopping Center, and close to the library and community center.
All rooms are very bright, suitable for students, business travelers and traveling couples. Imagine waking up to the gentle caress of a sunbeam streaming into your room, filling your morning with a warm and golden glow. Of course, if you prefer not to be awakened by the morning light, we have also provided blackout curtains to ensure your peaceful slumber.
In order to provide our friends with a clean, tidy and comfortable sleeping environment, we have prepared double beds and queen beds, but no single beds. We would love to host friends from all over the world. Welcome!

Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
No pets, no smoking, no drugs, no illegal activities. No unapproved guests.
Please keep quiet after 10:00 pm.
Bedding and bath towel are provided, but no face towels, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and body soap.
Kitchen and guest utensils are available, but need to clean them yourself.
Shower room is shared, please clean after each use.
Please inform us in advance if you will be returning home after 11pm or staying out overnight.
Guests staying for more than one month can pay the rent on a monthly basis, and other guests are required to pay a deposit of $200. Refund in full when check out if no damages.
Then first payment on your arriving day in cash or e-transfer.
Cancellation Policy: We ask our guests to give us at least 2 weeks’ notice for any cancellation. Any cancellation later than this will not be refunded.
For guests who stay for more than one month, we provide free airport pick-up service or $50 cash back for taxi fare.
We are not responsible for any accidents that may occur in the yard or within the house during your stay. By checking in, you agree to the above rules.

Devin is a great host with an awesome family!! Including the beautiful dog! It was a really nice experience to stay in their house. If the situation arises, I will definitely stay with them again

Good location, the room is simple but enough for my short stay. Family is nice and flexible.
First time use this platform and appreciate host allow me to stay only a few days which normally 1 week plus, paid 10$ extra each day for short stay but still good price.
And He is straightforward and also nice to communicate with once you know him.A few tips if you are new to Homestay and also get yourself prepared:
1. Read host rules carefully. be prepared to have some cash for deposit.
2. Check with host on arrival time, discuss anything if needed, especially if you arrive late in evening. Thanks Devin waiting around midnight.
3. Get clear on the normal routines during stayWill consider again if visit Vancouver in the future

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
