Our home is situated in a mature and safe neighbourhood.
Its a five minute walk to the Bus stop which takes you to King George Skytrain station .
The Skytrain provides easy access ( Although always busy ) to Downtown , New Westminister and Downtown Vancouver , including colleges and universities like Simon Fraser , Kwanlin Polytechnic University, Douglas College, Sprott Shaw College and UBC .
There are 3 grocery stores catering to many tastes and budgets, Save On Foods , No Frills and Fresh Street Market
If you like to work out there is a good gym and its cheap to join for short term, Guildford Recreational center .
We are hands on and like to help out where we can with directions , tips and food places. Safe travels

House Rules
Welcome to my Home
On arrival please remove shoes , use slippers and wash hands .
- Rooms are to be kept tidy with bed to be made up each morning on departure
~On leaving the house double check all lights and stove and heating is switched off
~Lock the front door after you.
~In the event you were not returning for an evening let us know 12 hours in advance,
~~The living room is also for you to enjoy, we ask you to handle everything with care .Any utensils in the kitchen are available to you however all dishes must go in the dishwasher directly after meals.
~No strangers , no smoking, no loud music
~Protect your house keys and gate fob, as in the event of losing either of them ,there is $100 replacement fee .
~~A $10 fee is due to be paid in advance weekly or $40 every 4 weeks for use of wifi and laundry facilities .
~~Laundry may be carried out twice per week with medium to full loads where possible.~~We’re available to you any day, to help out, if you have any questions, or concerns~~

Staying at John's house was truly a wonderful experience. His home is very comfortable, well-equipped, and surrounded by the beautiful scenery of Vancouver. The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and everything you needed.
John was incredibly kind and welcomed us warmly. From the day we arrived, he provided valuable information about tourist spots and local restaurants, ensuring we enjoyed our stay in Vancouver.
His cooking skills were truly amazing, and we got to enjoy pasta made with local ingredients.
Throughout our stay, we felt like a part of the family. Conversations with John in the evenings were enjoyable, and we learned about his life and culture. He was always willing to help us with anything we needed.
Overall, our homestay at John's house was unforgettable. If you're planning to visit Vancouver, I highly recommend his place. It's safe, clean, and most importantly, you're guaranteed a warm welcome. Thank you, John, for a wonderful stay!

涼太 was a a very polite and respectable guest . He was so quiet or at home in his room that sometime we did not know he was there .
I got to know he was home by the shoes let by the shoe rack .
He was very a very memorable guest as sometimes we sat down for chats to exchange ideas on different cultures.

色んなとこに連れてってくださり良心的なホストファミリーホストファザーは男の子のお父さんということもあり、男の子が行ったらもっと楽しめるのではないかと感じたので男の子にオススメです。 ホームステイ先の近くにはスーパーもあり、近くに大きなモールがあるため買い物に困らずに済みます！

男の人3人の中でステイしたので 常に緊張していたため、評価が4つです。しかし、ホストファーザーは料理の際手伝わせてくれたり 買い物や散歩、海で船に乗せてくれたり 様々な体験をさせてくれました。 色んな国に興味を持っている方で色んな国について話してくださいました。

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
