Hi, me and my wife would love to welcome you to our beautiful, cozy home with facing a ravine in Oshawa. We are looking for a quiet, respectful, clean and responsible female student for our huge walkout, lower level accommodation at Townline and Bloor, Oshawa.
At the moment we are looking for female only as the other young student staying there already is a young lady.
We are looking for a female student that takes pride in their living space. We value cleanliness and expect you to maintain high standards and take good care of all appliances, TV, beds, dressers, and the entire living space, floors, walls etc.
My wife loves to cook and entertain and you’ll be welcome to join us when we have BBQs over for in the summer. Be ready for lots of Canadian and Filipino food!

Pickup and drop off to/from the airport: $80. Must be coordinated directly with owner and booked at least 48 hours ahead of time and if we are not at work we will come and pick you up.
Cleaning of entire unit if requested during stay if you can't do it: $60 each time.
Costs are in Canadian dollars. Payment for the accommodation and any optional additional services are to be paid directly to the host upon arrival in cash or e-transfer

We are located on a very quiet, family friendly street. Our house faces a ravine, lots of nature and rabbits and birds in the yard in the summer.

Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
No pets and smoking tobacco or any other substance. You have a lot of privacy here so please respect our own with less noise. You will have access to your own TV and living room and dining room if you want so please turn down the volume after 10 pm. Quiet hours are from 10 pm - 8 am.
If you decide to invite friends to hang out, they hopefully will be clean, respectful and leave before bed time too. We value cleanliness and keeping everything in good working order. No subletting or conducting any type of business from the premises is allowed.
Keep the space clean at all times. If you're not sure about anything, please ask.
Rent is due on the first day of your stay and subsequently on the first day of the month if you are staying for several months.
A refundable security deposit of $300 is required upon start of your rental. It will be given back to you when you leave after a full inspection for damages.
Interest will be charged for all late payments.
Only a maximum of 3 people can stay in the Homestay at all times.
Smoking Rules
Your host is a non-smoker.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
