two level home. Large upstairs room with full private bathroom, walk in closet, a great view of property with a 10 x 14ft deck. I have 2 chair lifts to make it easier for physically challenged or elderly guests to get to the upper level. We are in the country but only 15 mins to the mall in Nanaimo or Parksville , Parksville has one of the best beaches on the east coast of the Island. there is a gazebo in the yard for smokers & a tree farm with a multitude of trails to walk. It is a no smoking environment & I ask that scents are limited. Vancouver Island is an amazing place to visit. My animals are outside creatures so unfortunately no pets. English is the only language. Continental breakfast is offered that you can take back up or eat in the reading room on the lower level.I offer a microwave, coffee pot, kettle , fridge, toaster, & paper products for eating. Water conservation is a must all year round. For a fee I can take you on days trips to the west coast or Victoria. International students are welcome to stay for school term with meal options available to them. There is a bus system to the University in both Nanaimo & Parksville. no smoking in house or on deck, covered gazebo is available

About the Area

Our home is located in a country village about 15 mins from a major shopping centre south, & 15 mins north to another samll city with a terrific beach . The area is relatively quiet thru the day, but active in the afternoon with the trails being used by dog walkers, we are gated at night only for the safety of my dog.
