The Westview boasts 3 cozy, clean, private & secured rooms in a shared living space. The rooms are located within the lower level of a detached house on a quiet residential street in the Topham Park area of East York, Toronto.
Perfect for longer-term travellers or month to month renters - individuals or couples (strictly up to 2 adults per room ). A quiet and relaxing home base in an amazingly vibrant city!
My family and I live above on the first/second level of the house. We enjoy our weekly routine of school, extracurricular activities, and spending time with family and friends. We enjoy meeting many of the guests who come through our homestay.

About the Area
Topham Park is a quiet, family-friendly, convenient area of East York. Close access to TTC. A short bus ride to either Victoria Park or Woodbine subway stations. Or simply Uber or drive to some great local areas! 10-15 minute drive to Danforth Village and the Beaches, 20-25 minute drive to downtown Toronto. 5 mins to the DVP Hwy, 15 mins to the 401 Hwy.
Walking distance to local parks/trails (Taylor Creek, Don Valley), Golden Mile shopping area, Fairview Mall, The Shops at Don Mills, and close to the border of Scarborough as well.

Please remove shoes/boots while inside.
NO Smoking in the premises. Smokers can use the outdoor space in driveway at the discretion of other guests (please discard any waste in garbage bin outside).
NO Parties/Events, Pets, or Unregistered guests.
Kindly keep noise level down after 10:00 PM (to 7:00 AM) and avoid excessive noise (e.g. loud music, slamming doors, etc.)
Please refrain from eating in the bedrooms to avoid crumbs/stains.
Kitchen Etiquette:
Wipe down surfaces after use and remove all garbage/recycle/green waste on a daily basis (small bins under kitchen sink/ large bins in driveway). Collection is on Thursday morning.
No cooking of foods with overly fragrant odour or spices (note, there is no hood fan on stove/oven). If cooking and creating odour please open windows to air out space.
Bathroom Etiquette:
Wipe down surfaces (sink, toilet, shower) after each use and keep personal items in the bedrooms if multiple guests are present.
PLEASE keep the bathroom fan running after shower use for approx. 10-20 minutes to dry out the space thoroughly.
For guests staying longer than 3 days please replace your supplies (toilet paper, paper towel, etc.
We are not responsible for lost or stolen items so please keep your personal items and valuables secured in room at all times.

Suzanne is a great host and her place is Great, very clean and private and located right in the heart of all services. I would 100% recommend and will stay next time.
How do I book?
Contact the host about your stay - tell them a little about yourself, why you are staying and ask any questions you have about their homestay. You will be able to book immediately after sending your message.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
