You're invited to come and share our happy, very large and easygoing home which includes a young cat (2 years old - Jelly Bean) and a puppy (13 months - Noodle).
It's a large modern house set 65m off a main road, so it's very quiet. There's a bus stop right outside the door which goes to the city, Fortitude Valley, South Bank, etc., and on the other side of the road the bus goes to Garden City. We're just a few minutes from Griffith University Nathan campus.
There is a separate TV room/library, swimming pool, large outdoor dining and sitting area, barbeque, and a fireplace (which is rarely used!)
The available bedroom has a double-sized bed, bedside table, lamp, a built-in wardrobe, bookcase, desk and chair. The windows are insect-screened. We supply bed and bath linen which you wash yourself. You are also responsible for cleaning your own room (and I supply all the cleaning products).
The bedroom has network and wi-fi access (as does the whole house). We cook dinner six nights a week (you take care of yourself on Saturday night) and help yourself to breakfast and lunch - there are always things like tea, coffee, sugar, milk, cereal, bread, butter, jam, fruit, etc.
The weekly board is $200 for one person, or $300 for two people. That includes EVERYTHING - food, internet, electricity, etc.
We don't have a lot of rules - be considerate of others (don't be noisy when people are sleeping), clean up thoroughly after yourself (kitchen, bathroom, communal areas, etc), and smoke outside. Although if I'm smoking, I smoke inside - I'm a partly successful quitter.
We do not cater for special dietary requirements.
Parking is off-street ONLY. There is no storage outside your room.

Salisbury has a village feel, even though we're on a main road. The house is 65m from the road and so it's very quiet, but there's a bus stop right outside the door which takes you to the city, and we're 5 minutes from Griffith University Nathan campus

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
