The House Mates
My wife was a former student from Vietnam, she iscurrently working in disability support worker and we live with 2 girl students which one is my wife sister and one korean girl. I am a professional worker who worked for many years within in management of stock broking firms and investment banks but have recently transitioned to disability support worker.
We don't have house parties but we do have people over, sometimes for bbq's in the backyard next to the outside fire pit. You are welcome to have friends or family over at the same time or use the bbq to have friends over on other occasions.
We expect all house guests to be respectful of others but please understand you are living with us and all the rooms and parts of the house are available for you to use. While staying with us we would like you to feel at home.
We have been hosting international students for many years and my wife and I both have Victorian Working with Children Card and police check.
There is a surcharge for students under 18 years of age due to extra duty of care.
We prefer overseas students / working holiday / backpackers. (female only)
Rents and the Room
One month rent and a $500 bond (fully refundable) is payable before moving in. The minimum stay is 3 months. Notice period is 4 weeks before moving out.
Room Available: This double bedroom has a Seally mattress and luxury doona, wardrobes, tv, bedside table, study desk; lamp, beans bag, lock on the door.
This is available now for $180pw ($780pcm) /1 person. (All bills will be shared)

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
