We are a very friendly young family of 4 who would love to host you and help you get comfortable in Aussie land! We are very busy but always happy to stop for a chat and catch up over a meal every so often. We like gardening, cooking, and working hard! You will be staying in a large furnished bedroom with a queen bed for a double or single person in our brand new two story Queenslander home. We are living upstairs and you will be in a self contained, separate access downstairs sharing the kitchen, lounge and bathroom with one other female. It's like two homes in one!
Bright new, spacious, fresh bedroom, all bills included such as Wifi, air con, electricity. Food not provided but we invite you upstairs for dinner with us every so often. Extremely convenient location with 1 min walk to the city bus, 6 min walk to a shopping centre with two cafes, supermarket, hairdresser, doctors, gift shop, and a pub.

About the Area
Our house is located south of the city in the bustling, up and coming suburb of Cannon Hill. Considered one of the best places to live in Brisbane due to convenience, it has everything you need a short walk away and the city bus stop only 1 minute walk.

Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

I had a really good time with Elizabeth and her family! They were really nice and welcoming and occasionally invited me to dinner. The house was tidy and I enjoyed my stay in it. If I get another opportunity I'd definitely stay here again.

Amazing home and an amazing family! Liz couldn’t do enough for us and was always there if we needed anything. Private place which is beautifully done. Great location, easy to get into the city centre and shops/cafes near by.

The host cancelled the booking 10 days before the arrival date.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
