The best place to be in Shiraz has two names: Mehdi and Maryam. Their appartment is lovely, the breakfast delicious, and they know litterally every possible destination in town, for everyone and every taste. When we stayed at their flat Maryam guided us to the bazar and advised us well in regard to some beautiful carpets. At one night we also had the chance to learn some basics about playing traditional Persian percussions (both Mehdi and Maryam are quite skilled in this field).
