A wonderful young family in a wonderful location. I felt very welcome staying for the week+ stay. It's away from the tourists and imbedded in the daily life of locals.
You get your own set of keys, bedroom with AC, and a private bathroom.Things to keep in mind:
- the street you face is noisy and bright. At night, its OK, but you'll hear the occasional horn all through the night (probably not unusual for HCM). And the curtains keep out most of the light, but not all.
- the toilet is difficult to use being so close to the wall. I had to take my pants right off to use it each time.
- the bed is hard. It felt great to sleep on to be honest, but it's a hard mattress.
- there are 4 flights of steps with a low ceiling (I hit my head a number of times being 6ft).
- and breakfast isn't includedThank you for letting me stay over my birthday. It was an incredible time.

Accueil très sympathique en français. Chambre correct mais le matelas reste trop dur pour nos vieux dos occidentaux.

Dirty room , Dirty and super small bathroom, very noisy street ! They were kind people but did not care to make the room ready for guests to stay. I left the city after one night.

I really enjoyed my stay with Thi Minh Hue. It was a lovely introduction to Ho Chi Min City and Vietnam. Together with her husband I was made to feel extremely welcome and looked after. The accommodation is in district 4 where you really get the local feel of the city. It’s just a short walk to district 1 where most of the tourists stay. It was great to sit in the coffee shop and get helpful information and chat about my visit. Breakfast was bought to my room each morning which was a lovely touch. I would recommend a stay here.

They really cared a lot and were helpful and gave us some good tips where to go.
The bed, however, has a rather thin mattress.
Great, that we got our own key so we could come and go as we wanted.
Ca phe down at the coffee shop is great.
Location is good, was no problem walking a few minutes to get downtown.
Thank you
