At the Old quarter of Hanoi, nearby the Opera house and Hoan Kiem lake. The building has 2 studios with balconies and 3 private roooms with new modern funiture. We have a vegetarian restaurent downstairs. If you wanna stay at the center location and quite area, this is the best choice in Hanoi.
Perhaps my place's best attribute is its perfect location. Conveniently located in the very heart of the charming historic Hanoi Old Quarter, it is situated in a beautiful old street, which offers you a perfect retreat from the vibrant and buzzing Old Quarter.
From here it is only few blocks to Hoan Kiem Lake, shopping area in the 36 ancient streets and just walking distance to Ho Chi Minh Complex, Temple of Literature, Hanoi Opera House, other attractions and restaurants offered in Hanoi.
Located at the famous street has many local shops, cafes, restaurents with favourite Vietnamese food (Pho, Bun Cha, Banh Mi...). There is a 24/7 shop (Circle K shop) nearby my place, you could buy anything whenever you need.

Lien responded to messages and helped with information before my stay and whilst I was there. When I arrived, I was also given useful written information on the local area. The location was very good and the room was perfect for my stay. However, I would not call this a homestay as the host did not live there. Breakfast was not provided.

Excellent "welcome" and disponibilité of the 2 hosts Lien and Lan.
Great stay on Hàng Bong street the first time, but surprises on the last stay with noisy building works on the next house...
And they found for us an amazing very small place for one night only during our way through Hanoi, back from Tam Coc and on the way to the north: a tiny student studio in a poor building, but very close to Hoàn Kiem lake..
So, Lien and her friend were very good contacts to have in Hanoï.
We also thank them so much to have kept our too large amount of luggage during three weeks...
