We Do Not Recommend this Stay if:
-Sharing a wall is uncomfortable to you.This listing is COMPLETELY closed off but still attached to our home. If you are looking for a traditional "experience" we would love to have you. If you are looking for extra privacy we suggest booking an entire apartment or cottage. The door connecting to our portion of the house always remains closed and locked so you have full privacy during your stay.
We live in the main portion of the house with our two rescue pups ( Genevieve our Great Pyrenees and Sapphira our St. Bernard Mix ). Our dogs (sometimes) bark, (sometimes) we get them excited to go places and just be the pups they are, and (sometimes) they roughhouse. Because of the nearness of the guest suite to the home you might also hear the sound of us talking or other day-to-day activities. We keep normal family hours (7 am-9 pm - getting ready for work usually falls within the early hours of 7-9 am).
Furnishings Include:
-Mr.Cool Mini-Split AC/Heating unit. Controllable by a remote.
-Coffee bar! Both a Nespresso & Keurig are available for use, including all the essentials (milk frother, creamer/coconut milk, agave, selection of syrups, and pods for both machines) for a latte and/or regular cup of joe.
-Keypad entry to your private suite.
-Some snacks and treats with several amenities provided to make you feel at home.
-A hanging station with a couple of hangers to hang garments.
-Queen-sized bed with extra fresh pillows.
- A kitchenette space with a tea kettle, toaster, mini fridge, and microwave.
-Double sinks.
-Tiled shower with sliding glass door and rainfall shower system.
-Fresh and extra towels and blankets provided.
-WIFI, Netflix, free Amazon Prime, HBO Max, Apple TV, and Disney+ are included. Firestick with other app log-ins available (no cable).
-Small heater/fan, dehumidifier, and Bluetooth radio.
-Ceiling fan and desktop fan
-Foldable Beach Chairs (wooden with sling fabric)
-Small laptop-friendly countertop to eat or work at.
-Guest use only - outdoor shower! Perfect for rinsing off after a beach day. Complete with rainfall shower head and handheld. One temperature is only (combined temp), but perfect for pesky sand removal. This is in addition to the shower located within the suite.
Other things to note:
The kitchenette sink is only warm water (the water temps are mixed). The shades in the room are not black-out, but light filtering.

We love that our home is located just minutes from all the fun, but is also a safe and relaxing retreat in a quiet suburban neighborhood. This is the perfect place for anyone who wants to have a nice quiet night after a long day of fun or work.
Super safe little - 70s build suburban ranch - neighborhood close to shops, grocery stores, downtown, the beach, and so much more. Just a quick 6 minute highway hop to downtown.

Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
Please do not use bath towels or washcloths for the removal of makeup or spill clean up. Pink reusable make-up removing cloths are available for make-up and paper towels are provided for spills. All towels stained or damaged and not reported upon check out will be charged back to the guest.
If you have visited the beach during your stay, please use the outdoor shower to rinse excess sand off before entering the suite.
Please do not use the countertop in the kitchenette for cutting. Cutting boards are provided.
Remove shoes before entering bedroom.
Quiet Hours from 10:30PM to 8:00AM.
No open fire or flames within or outside the home including candles, incense, BBQs, grills, and lighters.
No unapproved visitors and no more than 2 people allowed on the property at all times.
No flames or smoking of any kind, any sign of these will result in a $200 fee.
Early check in available with $25 early check in fee, and host approval, if requested prior to check in day. Day of early check in requests are $40.
Late check out available with $25 late check out fee, and host approval, if requested prior to check out date. Day of late check out requests are $40.
Any unauthorized pets found on the property will result in a $50 cleaning fee
Place used towels in the hamper when done before checkout.

Your host is a non-smoker.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
