House Rules
Parking:
Kindly park your vehicle on your right alongside the green side hill. This private road is connected to the property.
Arrival:
Before your arrival, please download the AUGUST APP or provide cell number to be invited.
Once you reach the property, head to the front door and take two quick rights. Both rooms will be on your right-hand side. Inside each room, you will find codes written on the inside of the door lock. It would be helpful to take a photo of these codes for future reference. To lock Door 1, simply pull it shut and then long-press the big button. Door 2 locks automatically when you pull it shut.
Room Etiquette:
During your stay, please keep all bedroom doors closed. Both rooms are equipped with a TV and remote control, providing access to Sling TV, Prime Video, and Apple TV.
Bathroom:
Your exclusive bathroom is located in the hallway and is never used by me. Cleaning supplies can be found inside the cabinet under the sink in your bathroom, as well as in the kitchen top pantry cabinet, in case of spills.
Kitchen:
Please keep the kitchen area clean. You have access to the following amenities:
- Refrigerator
- Freezer
- Coffee machine (compatible with K-cups)
- Juicer
- Air Fryer
Backyard:
If you would like to use the backyard, please schedule an appointment as the doors are locked due to maintenance. However, you are welcome to use the front yard bench whenever you like.
Smoking Rules
Your host is a non-smoker.
Smoking is not allowed.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
