We would love to welcome you to our home in the Rancho Bernardo area of San Diego, CA. We have nice view of the mountains and foothills in a safe suburban residential neighborhood. Our local community has many stores. We are close to the I-15 freeway and Rancho Bernardo Rd.
We have 1 Single room with a shared bathroom. Facilities include bed, closet, wardrobe, radio, mirror, desk, chair, lamp, bookshelves, and WiFi; and access to the main rooms of the house: living room with TV, dining room, kitchen with refrigerator and appliances, laundry room and backyard.
Teresa is 52 and enjoys cooking, reading, learning foreign languages, socialising, travel, watching movies and television, , listening to music, nature, board games, science, and theatre. She speaks English, some Spanish and French.
Jay is 54. He speaks English and enjoys cooking, watching movies and television, photography, and socializing.
Teresa has 2 children living at home who attend a local school, and 2 cute friendly dogs - a lab & a schnauzer-poodle mix.
Additional Info
There is no better way to learn a foreign language than to speak it in everyday situations. Your host Teresa offers qualified language instruction in her native language English. One hour of instruction costs 25.00 USD. The classes will be given by the family member at the accommodation.
The room rate includes the following services: regular room cleaning, washing machine usage, and internet access.

I have visited Teresa and her family for eleven days, from end of December to beginning of January. It includes Christmas and New Year's Day, so she and her family were very busy, but they accepted me and I followed them. It was beautiful time and I got a opportunity to meet their relatives, too. I was very happy to meet them. I saw a Christmas party and people gathering at church on Christmas Eve. It became my wonderful memories.
I can't speak English, so I could learn English from Teresa and her family. It is good for me to spend time with them. They know I can't speak English, so they heard me patiently. I appreciate so much for them. I'd like to visit again.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
