Homestay for International Students ages 18+ - 32yrs old (30 days or more)
We have been hosting international students for many years and we had many wonderful experiences interacting with different cultures. We love to travel the world and we are looking forward to do more traveling in a near future.
We are opening our home to host international students ranging from 18+ to 32 years old. Guests can stay from 30 days up to a year. We have no pets nor kids living in our home, and we preferred to host non-smoking international students.
Our home is in a very peaceful neighborhood centrally located in San Diego. It is walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, stores, banks, library, parks, pubs, gym, etc… Home is approximately within 2 miles to EF International, SDUIS, and within 5 miles to many English schools in downtown and surrounding areas in San Diego. Nearby are two bus stops within 5-10 minutes walk from home. One bus goes directly to San Diego downtown within 15 minutes. The other bus takes approximately 10 minutes drive to the San Diego Old Town Transit Center for transfer buses to your destinations.

About the Area
Our house is centrally located in a quiet and safe neighborhood by the San Diego Bay and nearby many tourist attractions. It is approximately 5 miles to downtown. There are two bus stations within 5-10 minutes walks from home. One bus goes directly to downtown approximately 5 miles away. And the other bus goes to Old Town Transit Center within 15 minutes.
The area is full with trendy cafe, bars and restaurants as well as some nice boutique and shops.

Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

Smoking is Not allowed inside/outside the home.
Please wash your dishes & clean up the kitchen after each meal.
Please keep your bedroom clean and tidy.
Please clean the rest room at least once a week, and always keep it dry and clean.
100% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date. Payment in full required before check-in.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
