Since my home is right on the edge of the city of Philadelphia it is calm, safe and quiet. Within one block from the home you will have access to busses, or trains that run directly into the city and the suburbs. I have two nice size rooms that are typically rented to foreign students. There is one shared bathroom, with tub and shower for the students and visitors. I have one small dog, and three cats that go inside and outside. There is free parking on the street. My home is clean and comfortable. I garden, enjoy art & music and ride horses.

About the Area
My home is on the western border of Philadelphia in a quiet and safe neighborhood. We have a natural park with deer, fox and hawks across from the house. You will be minutes walking distance from busses and trains that will whisk you into the city, or the suburbs for school, work or entertainment. Nearby in walking distance there are many different restaurants and shopping available. There is street parking at the home if needed.

House Rules
To maintain safety all doors must be locked when you leave and after you return to the home.
No open candle flames in the room.
Cash payment is due upon arrival.
You are responsible for cleaning your room, shared bathroom and your laundry, at minimum monthly.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
