Patti and I are retired. We live on the ground floor. We turned the second floor of our home into an apartment when our children left home. This house was built in 1952 by Joe's father. It originally housed 8 children (7 boys and 1 girl) and 3 generations. 5 generations of the Keller family have since lived here. Joe's father's plans for the house were to make an apartment in the upstairs after the kids were gone. He died a young man but we have completed his idea.
Our family consists of a daughter and family in New York City, another daughter and family in Kortrijk Belgium and a son and family in Hop Bottom, PA.
Our home is located in Hilltown PA. Located near us is the SEPTA Train service. Chalfont station (4 miles away) or Colmar station (6 miles away). Trains run approx. every 30 minutes.
There is Transbridge Bus Service to New York City. The bus runs out of Dublin (3.8 miles away) or Doylestown (6.8miles away).
There is Peace Valley Park and dam 1 mile away where there is boating, nature trails, bike trails, bird watching, etc.
Around the corner from us is Tabora Farms where you can delight yourself to pastries, cookies, coffee, wine and a large deli with a wide selection of salads, pies, meats, etc.
The National Shrine of our Lady of Czestochowa is also located 3.8 miles from our home.
Delaware Valley College and Bucks County Community College are just minutes away from our home.
